ACID

Entered the door of insanity
Discovered I liked it there.
While I was eating ice cream cows
And following words as they moved on the bathroom wall.
Not just a trip to the zoo, a trip into chaotic order.
The sounds rang clearer, the sights got fuzzy.
We followed the sounds until we lost them to the street.
Green man in the box, he was our leader.
Telling us when to go and where.
He led me to the cows, the punk monkeys, and gothic bats.
Words like stickle were given meaning.
Words like reality were lost somehow.
For once, I understood life.
For once, I didn't care what people thought about me.
I've never felt so strong or sure.
The problems in one plane don't exist in this other.
I've decided to stay. I'm not going home.
