The hungry claw escapes the black for five
minutes
To dig deep inside the hole that was my soul.
The nails scratch to make it bleed
A vampire hand that stole from me
Everything that was and was ever to be;
It takes my everything, no longer will I endure.
From this second forth I must fight
Until I die fighting against this enemy
Who makes me cover my eyes to see the white it wears.
Like an innocent light, most pure and straight
The eyes reach into me, but the white is only a veil
To cover it's most bleakest damned soul.
All I see is myself, standing there, lost
But not forever, I dare to hope.
I'm letting that claw devour me.
From this moment I'm born into darkness,
Only to gaze at black and things dead.
I shall still fight but only to gain
what is still left to grasp
Not what was left in a dead corpse that was me.
