Apologies for the lack of updates, however I am kind of back on track, so here you go:
As a follow up on Erasure's 21st anniversary of Erasure's successful album, The Innocent, Mute records will release Phantom Bride EP on the 12. October. Sleeve photo and tracklisting can be found at EIS.
Earlier this year we had rumours about Andy Bell working on a second solo album.
Well, he has been busy in studio this year and is apparently putting the finishing touches to his second album, which I am sure we'll soon hear more about in very near future.

Erasure will get back together this year to start working on a new album, exciting times ahead :-)
A very special remastered 21st anniversary edition of the Innocents will be released October 26'th. Album will be released in standard and deluxe version (I know which one I'll buy).
This very mature and well produced album charted at No. 1 in the UK charts in 1988!
I think the remastered edition sure will feature some goodies as well becoming a big jewel in our already treasured collection ;-)
Also while we're in the swing of it, the Abba Esque remixes has again been made available as a special download bundle. the 6 track EP is available to purchase via Lexer Music, the one and only Erasure shop.
Absolutely worth mentioning is that Vincent Clarke was FINALLY honoured by the prestigous Ivor Novello Awards on the 21.May. Photos of the event are available at the EIS news section! Congratulations, Vince!!!!!

Vince has been busy doing some cracking remixing and some interviews for their Total Pop compilation release!!!

While back in UK Andy has been busy enjoying life in Southern UK AND doing a lot of promotion for the fresh release of Total Pop!
Where as one I should mention was a brief interview in the UK daytime show "Loose Women" on ITV!

The Sky High Radio Erasure special night has just recently held their 3'rd successful broadcast on their Internet radio.

Pop! Remixed. was released , February 9'th.
It is released as a album cd and also digital download.
Featuring on the tracklist is amongst other amazing remixes,
a remix of Drama! by Andy Bell and JC.

Erasure's "Total Pop! The First 40 Hits" has been released
On the 23. February 2009, we saw the release of "Total Pop! The First Forty Hits"
which is a new compilation album which is the follow up from the 1992 compilation album "Pop! The First 20 Hits".
"Total Pop! The First Forty Hits" has been released in two different versions.
The standard release which features 2 cd's and a Deluxe version, which have entire 3 cd's and 1 DVD which contains some gems. Visit the EIS for more information.

While Erasure is having a well deserved break, Vince and Andy are still busy with their projects.
Andy has been performing and Dj'ing in UK and USA and Vince has been co working with Robert Marlow on Marlow's recent album called "Inside/Outside".
