warning

Many parts are safe for a preschooler to read - if they could read - however, some of the content in the story is to be taken with an extreme maturity. Although I am not the one to set limits on you, I would advise no one younger than the age of 15 to read this story. "Repetitive Illusions" deals with censored profanity, mild violence, sexual situations and heavy intake of alcohol at certain points. Throughout most of the story, Nick Carter is portrayed as a negative character, though in the end, he changes and starts working towards creating positive effects. I know I have taken the liberty of warping his character to the extreme, but I do not claim his fictional character to be identical to the Nick Carter in reality. However, if any of this offends you (especially those who would be dubbed as teenyboppers), DO NOT READ. But please realize this: I have good intentions for this plot of the story. This is not created to be a visual of any sort - the sex scenes are described as little as possible. Instead, in an effort to state an important moral, I believe that I have to actually show people through the eyes of others of the consequences of premarital sex, other than simply saying: premarital sex is wrong. To be honest, I am sick and tired of fan fiction that involves lustful sex situations, which have no meaning to the story whatsoever - and people think it's not a big deal. The truth is - it IS a big deal. Many negative consequences can arise because of premarital sex, whether it's pregnancies, STDs, or just plain guilt. Not many people seem to consider those factors when writing fan fiction. Now, I am not writing this story to be a preacher; no, I am simply writing it to make a truthful point. Yes, the situation involving Nick Carter is taken to the extreme, but I think that's the only way I can get people to see that the effects of premarital sex are truly devastating - and even deadly. It affects every aspect of one's life, including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditions. The damaging memories never go away. If you do not think that this is a good enough justification for me putting in the mature situations, fine - just don't read it. But I am trying to be straightforward and mature about this issue, and hopefully you will handle it maturely as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this notice.

Love, peace, and tomatoes,

Laura Wilde
