Elamkoor Rajavamsham.
Around 900 years ago, during war, two sisters of Edappally Rajavamsham was send away from the kingdom for safe being.  They were great grand mothers of Elamkoottil family.  A Thazman Mattom namboothiry married elder sister and from them the Elamkoottil family started.  This Namboothiry is Rakshas Appuppan in our temple.  These couple had a son who was mauled away by a tiger,  he is Arukula in Mathattikkavil temple.  Because of this relation, Thazmon Mattom Thantry comes to our temple for any special pooja occasions.
