Could they be discussing the antics of Cartrouble, or Young Steve Ant? It's certainly possible.
Ant Lady recently helped me transcribe the lyrics to Persuasion. Strangely, she believed Adam mentions "Sean Penn", of all people, at least once in every song. I eventually got her down to one instance, just to keep her happy.
"Cleo" is a Scottish lass with a warm heart, and host of the 2000 Ant gathering up in the "real naughty north". Nothing would have stopped her from coming this year to the London convention...except a "baby Cleo"...Congrats Mariesha!

A fast thinker, with a penchant for speed, he can often be found at the side of the motorway, bonnet up, head down, trying to sort out a mess.
During one such incident, a friendly passerby stopped and asked what was wrong, Carty replied "piston broke !" Thinking he had said "pissed, and broke" the stranger offered Carts a lift to the local pub for a pint, which he gladly accepted!
Oh, and he likes the Teletubbies. A lot.
Just like the picture, "Stanley" likes to be in the middle of everything. Well, maybe not a pile-up on the M1...but anything "Ant" related. Founder of ALF, she is relentless in her dedication to Ant Culture. Seemingly everywhere at once, it's believed she has a twin sister. Cartrouble claims to have seen two of her several times, but that could be put down to excessive drinking.
Always in black, "I don't wear no white shite"...she's the ALF creater, owner, guru...yada yada...

A favourite on the ALF circuit, I'm looking forward to the many shenanigans expected from Young Steve at this year's convention.
Last, but definitely not least, Ant Ranger. I haven't spoken much with her, but I enjoy her posts on ALF, which she dedicates a lot of her time to along with Stan. She is right about at the top when it comes to Ant knowledge.
We met a while back in Toronto, and it was a lot of fun. That was in the early stages of her webpage, which has grown into a fabulous spot to visit for any Ant news, pics, interviews, and just about anything else.
This picture was taken in London before one of Adam's performances in Funeral Games. She had her picture taken here with one of the other attendees, who claimed to be Adam himself. I've looked at the picture several times, and I think it IS him. Unfortunately, she doesn't believe me, and is still holding on the hope that one day, she will meet the man himself.
These two both deserve to have a place of their own here, but I could never resist a "mauling" picture. Actually I think Gem is trying to stop Rob from playing another SSS song on the jukebox..."Unplug it Gem...unplug it!!!"
"Gemmy" can be seen here with her usual "arms up" pose. She claims to have a bone condition, which keeps them from anything less than a horizontal position. Sorta like when you stand in a door frame, pressing the backs of your hands against either side of it, and then walk out to see your arms magically rise into the air.... like you're about to cast a spell on someone! I love doing that.
Anyway, I'm a big Gemmy fan, love the accent, and can't wait to share a "Tom Collins" with her.
Another great source of Ant knowledge, the only real "knocks" on Lesman's credibility are his love for Sigue Sigue Sputnik, and the fact that he is the only one of us to have actually been "told off" by Adam. Always willing to put in his "2 cents", and never one to pull punches, he is a fan favourite in the Ant community.
Rumoured to be on the shy side, despite what you may think reading his postings and perusing Lesmania, he finds himself constantly surrounded by women. Whether due to his astonishing charisma, or people's fascination with the unexplainable, it is unclear. Nevertheless, he continues to be a hub of activity wherever he goes.
They are posing by a "Master" Mandrake replica, which was commissioned by Madam Stan for 5,000 pounds. Was the money well spent? Well, not if someone doesn't remove that 20,000 watt lamp that is pointing right at it. He'll be like Frosty the Snowman in a greenhouse in no time. Ahh, the price of fame...

Top left is Bridget, who has done a bang up job helping Umesh Mistry organize the Antics Conventions.
In the middle is David Barnett. I've never met the fellow, but have seen his pic here and there, usually centre frame. Stan says he has a big ego. Either that or just a large head. C'mon Stanley, give the guy a break! (I think she likes him...). "Centre and stop, pan right and stop"....full stop.
Although "little", she has a big personality that fits just right. Always up for a "voice chat", you can often see her online..if she's not going to bed early to get up for school!! :(.
One of her fave Ant tracks is Little Devil, from Persuasion. I rather think she fancies herself in that role. An early starter, she loves the "Dirk era" Ant S&M imagery.
