America is not Babylon the Great
Discuss an Antipas topic on the blog here.
Arguments against Antipas:
- The Antipas philosophy is based on liberalism. Man is usually a victim. This is at odds with Christianity which states man is evil.
- Antipas claims America is Babylon the Great and will be destroyed. This opinion is skewed by the group's liberal bias and questionable view of the rapture.
- Antipas says the American NWO is evil while failing to take into account the evil of the so called "oppressed"
- The Antipas philosophy is a mirror of Bin Laden's. It justifies Arab anger. However, unlike Bin Laden, Antipas doesn't advocate violence. Nonetheless, I wouldn't want impressionable 13 year olds browsing thier site.
- Anti-Americanism is a scapegoat used by populists. They blame the USA for problems they (the 3rd world people) have created.
- Anti-Americanism is based on envy. Sinful man always hates anything that's superior.
- Antipas says America installs corrupt governments and then accuses these same governments of being corrupt. These governments promise to be clean. Are they? Usually not. However, they're still better than a Cuban or North Korean government. Corruption is something nations must work out for themselves. International businessmen simply export the products. The locals have a free will regarding the profits.
- Antipas says American companies force locals to accept a small payment. However, a small payment is necessary to keep a profit motive. The money is more than enough for the country.
Nonetheless, whatever payment they get is swallowed up by corruption. End the corruption and you will see prosperity.
Example: It isn't America's fault that a few local gangsters steal all Nigeria's oil wealth.
- Antipas assumes the rapture is false. This is highly questionable. There has been a debate for many years over the issue. I'd go with the rapture because God doesn't destroy the righteous.
- Antipas exxagerates the role of racism. For example, most Americans think the KKK and Neo-Nazis are idiots. They don't have any chance of getting power even with the immigration crisis. Americans is too multi-cultural to go back to the 50's.
They talk about Nazi Germany too much. Come on. Get Real. Yeah, Nazis would really take over in this day in age. America can't even handle Don Imus.
- Antipas claims Americans want to deport Mexicans. However, it's a known fact that Americans only want to DEPORT ILLEGALS not MEXICANS (in general).
Antipas talks about Nazi Germany too much. Come on. Get Real. Yeah, Nazis would really take over in this day in age. America can't even handle Don Imus.
In addition, A Nazi takeover would anger Mexico and cause revolution.
- Antipas claims that the USA will become a Christian dictatorship. FAT CHANCE. America has a 97 BILLION dollar porn industry. Don't you think there would be some angry businessmen? Plus, I didn't even mention the beer companies. Also, what about the angry porn viewers?
- They claim racial Christianity and Eugenics are sick stuff and some Christians have bought into it. No argument here; However, I doubt few regular Christians take it seriously. It's difficult to get common Christians to study anything, much less some wierd stuff. Most congregations want to hear the same stuff over and over.
- Antipas claims the church worships money. God understands the church has good intentions with the money. Antipas simply hates rich churches because they believe only the strong are evil.
- Antipas claims the USA is an empire; That's true. However, Antipas fails to realize that the USA's best interests are to maintain the status quo not resort to a racist and/or religious dictatorship.
- Antipas hates American patriotism and militarism. On the other hand, they have no problem with patriotism and militarism in Cuba, Venezuela, or Iran. They also claim Russia was never a real threat to America.
- Antipas thinks democrats are weak. On the other hand, it's a known fact that Clinton and Obama are NOT doves. Clinton's husband supported action in North Korea and Serbia; Obama stated he will attack Pakistan. Why? Nuclear Terrorism.
- Antipas doesn't believe America has the right to defend itself from NUCLEAR TERRORISM.
- They like Chavez and Castro; They justify gulags, mass starvation, loss of freedom (when commited by the left) and economic disaster.
- Antipas quotes scriptures which could be interpreted many ways
- Antipas believes that a world full of justice is possible if the NWO is destroyed. This site says a better world is possible by changing men's hearts not the government and/or system.
- To sum it up, the Antipas message is dangerous and misleading. It is the purpose of this site to warn Christians.

Article Criticism:
From: The Kingdom of God is At Hand - SR Shearer
hereThe fact is, most of the poor in the world today see Christianity as a rich, white man's religion having NOTHING to do with them. Sadly, Islam is more a religion of the poor than is Christianity. What do the poor of the world want to do with a religion that justifies the very system - i.e., the American New World Order System - that oppresses and brutalizes them?
Common folks in the 3rd world have seen the effects of Communism on TV or in books. They don't want it; That's why thousands of them oppose it.
White Man's Religion? Tell that to African Americans or South Koreans. What do the poor of the world want to do with a religion that justifies the very system - i.e., the American New World Order System - that oppresses and brutalizes them?
The liberal believes most people are victims. Does the NWO oppress the common man or is he really oppressing himself? It's a known fact that Arabs have corrupted governments. Instead of cleaning house at home they blame outsiders. The American KKK used to do that in the 1920's.
The fact is, most of the poor in the world today see Christianity as a rich, white man's religion having NOTHING to do with them.
It's a religion which teaches people to be honest, work hard and love thier neighbor. This would help out many in the 3rd world. Especially those who accept responsibility for thier own actions.
Sadly, Islam is more a religion of the poor than is Christianity.
I hate this apology for suicide bombers, Iran, Bin Laden etc.. The whole liberal agenda justifies Arab anger (or more like envy). Since Arabs are the victims then they can righteously hate the west. Antipas claims to be disgusted with Islamic violence. However, thier philosophy is a mirror of Bin Laden's. Bin Laden hates western imperalism and so does Antipas.
In addition, Antipas fails to mention that the Anti-Americanism and Radical Islam are scapegoating.
The "Gospel of the Kingdom" is God's answer to this deception. It has been calculated to rip away the mask of piety that the religious FRAUDS who wickedly justify this system hide behind - for example, Christian leaders like D. James Kennedy, Charles Stanley and John Hagee - while at the same time revealing the evil, avaricious "money-grubbing" that's really at the heart of the American Empire, and that animates ALL those associated with it. [Please see "The Superman Theology of the International Christian Embassy's Feast of Tabernacles" for a discussion of the theology and eschatology that animates people like John Hagee.]
They're are quite a few Pharisee type christian leaders. That sure justifies the destruction of Babylon (America). NOT! Are you out of your mind? Antipas' hatred of the USA has blinded them to common sense. How can you blame ordinary Christians for the actions of leaders? I'm sure some Grandma in Ohio deserves to be nuked because of Pat Robertson.
Nations were destroyed in the Bible due to oppression of the poor (The USA gives out millions in aid and has a generous welfare system.) and sexual sins (The USA has a lot of pornography but Antipas believes God is judging the church.)The kingdom being proclaimed here will be a kingdom grounded in social justice for ALL mankind, a world of equity where men are not divided up between the "owners of capital" on the one hand and "labor" on the other hand, and where men and women are not divided up on the basis of their race or even their gender (Gal. 3:28); where the rich do not oppress the poor; where every man has equal access to God; where privileges cannot be bought by the wealthy; where there are no death squads, no poverty, no torture, no hunger, no disease, and no room for oppressors of any kind. [Please see our article, "Capitalism and Christianity;" please also see "The Marxist Paradigm."]
HA HA HA!!! Antipas is talking of a marxist paradise.
Believe me. Antipas would have preferred Cuban style socialism to triumph over the American model. However, state socialism was a failure. It lead to religious persecution, economic disaster, starvation and imprisioned people. Why doesn't Antipas mention that in thier articles?
The only way to change people is by changing thier nature. If envy, lying, lust, greed etc are gone then real change will happen. Such change demands that people accept responsiblity for thier actions. Blaming others won't get you anywhere.A world based on social justice where the rich do not oppress the poor? A world where there are no John Dimitri Negropontes, no Liamine Zerouals and no Augusto Pinochets?
A world with no Joseph Stalins, Mao Tse-Tungs, Castros, or Ahmadinejads(religious police)? That sure sounds like a good world to me.
The bad apples of the west are very small in comparison to the east. The "Gospel of the Kingdom" announces the "good news" that the Kingdom of Christ is close "at hand." This, of course, is not the first time that the Kingdom has been announced to be close "at hand." It was announced the first time 2,000 years ago when the angels proclaimed it to the shepherds "in the field" at the time of Christ's birth in Luke 2:10-11):
Antipas' message is so twisted that I wouldn't trust what they say. It's better to recieve info from a less biased source.
THE TRIBULATION SAINTS Now note carefully here: while Scofield says that the "Gospel of the Kingdom" is again "at hand" - he does not believe that the church will be commissioned to announce it. Why? - because, according to Scofield, the church will be gone as a result of the rapture. Instead, he says that this commission will be given over to a special caste of pseudo-Christians he calls "Tribulation Saints." They are evidently not part of the church (because the church is gone), nor are they part of Israel. They're just there - suspended somewhere between "hither and thither." This, of course, is the NONSENSE dispensed by Tim LaHaye's series of books on the Tribulation and the rapture.
But there is no need to do such injury to the integrity of our understanding of the church by leaving some who call on His name suspended outside its blessed borders when one dismisses the pre-tribulation rapture of the church for the foolishness it is. Once one discards this teaching, the problem is solved; the lunacy dissolves that Scofield and others created when they allowed their imaginations to conceive a "special class" of Christians who are not part of the church. [We URGE you to read Chapter VII of the New Antipas Papers, "The Great Escape: Misconceptions Concerning the Rapture;" also Chapter VIII of the New Antipas Papers, "Tribulation and Judgment."]
As with the Gospel of Salvation, we - the members of today's church - are the ones to whom these commissions have been entrusted, IF SO BE WE CAREFULLY GUARD OURSELVES AGAINST THE SEDUCTION OF THE "GREAT DECEPTION" AND APOSTASY ("FALLING AWAY") OF THE "END OF DAYS."The rapture is a highly debateable topic. It's similar to the free will/predestination debate. However, I would put my money on the rapture. God never destroys a place without getting his people out. Of course, Antipas claims that God wants his people to get out of Babylon USA.
However, the Babylon message has been corrupted by Antipas. It's all seen thru liberal sunglasses. Once the liberal argument of the "victim" is gone then the case for Bablyon USA is weak.Racial Rage and the Coming Chaos
