I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1967.
I have studied repertoire with Susana Cardonnet and Marcela Esoín. Amalia
Estévez is my singing teacher since 1992.
I got my degree in singing at the Teatro Colón Art School.
I have debuted as a soloist in 1994, singing the roles of Fiorello and
Official at Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia. From then on I have

Mass, Missa solemnis and Requiem; Georg Haendel's Coronation
Anthems, etc.
I have performed in the principal theatres of Argentina, such as the
Teatro Colón, Teatro Coliseo, Teatro Avenida, Teatro Argentino (La Plata,
BA), Teatro Roma (Avellaneda, BA), etc, and I
have worked with prestigious conductors, such as Carlos López Puccio, Mario De Rose, Pedro
Ignacio Calderón, Antonio Russo, Carlos Calleja, Andrés Spiller, Bruno D'Astoli,
Manfredo Kraemer, Giorgio Paganini and others.
I have sung at the Teatro Colón as Sarastro (The Magic Flute,
1995), Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia, 1999), Dottor
Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro, 2002) and Ceprano (Rigoletto,
2002).
My most important performances in 2001 season include singing a cantata by
Johann Christoph Bach under the direction of Manfred Kraemer, then
Puccini's La Bohčme in Rosario (Santa Fe) and Zúńiga in Carmen
(Teatro Avenida, Buenos Aires). I have also sung the soloist bass part in
Bruckner's Te Deum, under the baton of maestro Pedro Ignacio Calderón,
with the National Symphonic Orchestra and National Philharmonic Choir of
Argentina. I have assumed the role of Simone in Puccini's Gianni
Schicchi, and the role of Silva in Verdi's Ernani (which I have
so much enjoyed!); I have performed as Sarastro in Die
Zauberflöte; and I have sung the leading part in Mozart's Requiem.
Among my performances during 2002, it is worth mentioning that I have sung
four times at the Colón
Theatre of Buenos Aires opera season: the first time in Honegger's Jeanne d'Arc
au bűcher, and then as Dottor Bartolo in Mozart's Le nozze di
Figaro. I have then sung again at the Colón Theatre in october,
performing Rameau's Les Indes Galantes under the baton of Gabriel
Garrido; and finally in december, as Count of Ceprano in Verdi's Rigoletto.
I have also sung in a production of Donizetti's Maria Stuarda
(with a cast led by soprano Adelaida Negri, conducted by Giorgio Paganini),
and I have taken part in a new
production of Verdi's La Traviata, singing the role of Dottore Grenvil.

I have made my debut singing the soloist bass part in
Beethoven's Ninth Symphony,

Argentina.
