| 25-Mar-2006: Carina touching the hull for the first time (she was forced!). She left in clear who is "above" in the priorities scale. I hope this is the only time that she stay of that side of hull! | 25-Mar-2006: Month of holidays and few days dedicated to the construction. In the few days avaliables I have hurry to close the hull completely. The final strips are of ecuadorian cedar. |

| 25-Mar-2006: Casi cerrado!. | 25-Mar-2006: Placing the last strip, I can't belive it!!. It was a stage very exhausting in which I lost a lot of time commending wood.Fearing buying wood in excess it was always short...finally I have more than enough a strip of 1,5 m!!. After learning the technique and to have adapted practical procedures (nails pre-nailed, short stips (long of reach of my arms) and putting glue on convex side for not dripping, special box for strips chamfers, etc), if I had to make another I would take half of time. | 25-Mar-2006: Finally the hull is finished after a month of work. I began to test the sander machine on the hull. Were necessary: 640 sqft wooden gross (of which were made 200 strips of 9 m), 30 kg of epoxi glue, 16 kg of copper nails and 2 kg of common nails. |
