// Archer Interview Hoax //
It's hard to trust what you find on the Internet, as of owner
of the "With Love To ... Soaps" Web site (http://lovesoaps.cjb.net)
recently learned the hard way. Last Week, Digest reported about an
interview on her site with ONE LIFE TO LIVE'S Melissa Archer (Natalie) -
which the actress says never took place.

Notified by Digest, Israel-based site owner Ayelet Weisz was shocked
to learn that she had been hoodwinked. All correspondence with
"Melissa" on Weisz'z part had taken place via e-mail address that she
had been assured was accurate. The address, however, is not in any way
related to Archer, says an OLTL spokesperson.

Says Weisz, "I feel extremely bad about all of this and hope Melissa
and the soap ... can find it in their hearts to understand that if
there was deception, I was deceived, as well." The offending article
has been yanked, though it remains at the site's original home on
FortuneCity, because Weisz no longer has access to that address.

A spokesperson for the show suggested caution when fans (or fan-based
sites) try connection with actors via e-mail and advised relying on
ABC sites and legitimate soap press instead. Archer has no official
Web site and has no immediate plans to create one in the future.
