Additional Orders:

All skippers should take care to read and note the Warship Restriction List before leaving on patrol. NO CREDIT FOR TONNAGE SUNK will be awarded for any warships not available as recorded on the Warship Restriction List.

As of the beginning of patrol cycle 15, twenty-seven (27) capital ships remain available: five(5) battleships, ten (10) carriers, and twelve (12) cruisers. Immediately upon sinking one of these capital ships listed on the WRL as 'available', you are urged to notify ComSubDiv7A by ECOPTC so that said vessel may be stricken from the 'available' list. Failure to do so may mean that another skipper gets credit for sinking that ship. (First reported gets all the credit for any given ship.)

Remember to review the Rules of Engagement for Pacific Thunder 4 before leaving on patrol.

Remember to read the Mission Orders from Vice Admiral Lockwood at fleet headquarters before leaving on patrol.

If your boat is not available for your patrol zone/sector for June 1945, contact COMSUBDIV7A Murd.

PLEASE make your patrol report promptly upon your return to base.

Send your copies (3) to:

ComSubDiv7A  CAPT Jack P. Murd III
ComSubRon1   CAPT John A. Tyree, Jr.
ComSubPac      VADM Charles A. Lockwood.
Please also post a copy of your patrol report on the E-Z board at the fleet site.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS about this patrol or anything else, please contact me.

Good Hunting, Gentlemen!

CAPT Jack Murd III,
ComSubDiv7A
