I have read your Advanced Magick system, and I am incorporating it
into my stories. Well done! You clarified points that were seriously
lacking in the original and 2nd edition systems. The format was bad when
Idownloaded it, so I brought it into Word, and reformatted the entire
30-some pages. It looks much better, now.

There's no real point to this, other than to say "thank you" for the
time spent on what is becoming a very useful tool for me and mine. If
you need anything, let me know. I feel that I owe you one.

Have I mentioned you're brilliant recently?

...

And oddly enough, in the Digital Web, the playground of the VAs,
Correspondence is enhanced-nice. I might require specific
additional spheres depending on the storage format of the data,
but for dealing with raw information, Correspondence should do
it. Otherwise, why would the VAs deal with it?

Y'know, this sort of paradigm examination is the sort of stuff that
_should_ have been in the VA Tradbook. Or any of the
splatbooks. Explaining how the mages of a given tradition operate.

Blake - nice job :) Very interesting, and I'll definitely be printing that
lot off....but, I see a preponderence of Time 3 just for the extra actions.
In my view, there are lots of ways of giving a Mage multiple actions.

You seemed to have done the three above pretty well.

It looked somewhat complicated, yes. This, however, is not really A
Bad Thing, IMHO. YMMV, though.

This Legendary stuff sounds about right for any game that doesn't have
much to do with Mage/Akashicks. With those, it'd look a _wee_ bit
suspicious.

To finish: This thing is really good. If I finally come around the
ST'ing Vampire/Mage, I'll probably use it.

Wow. How many times need I say it? Too many.

I am currently crafting a VA, and I must say that I have
not yet finished the VA Trad. Book [and I may not worry overlong
about it]. I now have enough to start her creation.

I have been trolling alt.games.whitewolf as well as the
Mage group, and have really gotten a superior "view" of Mage
from you [Bruce Baugh helped also, but I pestered him more for
Wraith.]

Wow. THIS is what I was thinking when I first started
considering Samantha as a character. She will really fit in my
Chronicle now. The Vamps will not be happy that their electronic
empires are so fragile...

        Hehehehehe.

Seriously, I had no problem with VAs as presented by WW,
but I know a few computer geeks that pale in comparison to people
out in the "real world" [a term applied gingerly now]; and from
what I gather, Samantha would feel at home in your sector.

Now, you have some really interesting rotes in here -
how would I translate them into 2nd edition without causing blood
to flow out my ears?

        Wow.

I read your idea for the new Vampire clan/bloodline. I REALLY liked it.
It will fit quite well into my werewolf campaign that I am running. Several
of my player characters in the game really hate Mages. Oh, this will be sooo
cool! My mind is literally whirling with ideas.
I sent you this e-mail to say thank - you for such an obviously well
thought out idea. How long did you actually play test it ? From the looks of
it, I can only conclude that you must have tested out the idea at some point.
It's too well put together.
Anyway, that's my comments for this e-mail. I would like to trade ideas
on the Mage magick system with you, if you have the time, and are willing to
do so.
Let me know if this is possible. Again, many thanks.
