Mother died when he was 7, he used to tinker with the mechanics of his toys, After his mother died he went to an orphanage.

Mother dead. Father, Stephan, is a washed out drunk. (Stephan wanted to be a Jedi like his father but didn't possess the power, he also doesn't now realise that his son has that power)

Up until 13 he attended school on a regular basis. After that he got an apprenticeship working on Starfighters.
