I'm going to remove the SW and ST pages.... I'll never get around to making them. This will become predominantly a Tolkien site.
See you in the next 6 month update. ;)

I supposed updating this document was in order.
Simscript 3.02 for ircN 7.0 is now available.
Simscript 3.02 for mIRC 5.5+ is now available.
Added some new functions to the LotR Webring page
Removed the left frame in favor of putting the information in a table. Reasoning is to stop GeoPopups.
Debugged a bunch of evil errors. Unfortunately, Opera's horrible frames implementation messes the frames up in a major way. The only workaround would be for the authors to fix Opera.
Tossed out the idea of a non-framed page, because all the files now work without frames involved anyway.

Finally updated this document (I HAVE been doing updates in between, but not documenting them)
Fixed a couple bugs in the code (nasty little plus signs)
Made the MIDIs not start by default to be easier on those without sound cards
Admitted I've not done a shred of work on the Star Trek and Star Wars pages and decided to get those done during the early part of the school year
Other miscellaneous stuff that's occurred over the course of the last 8 months, including the reopening of the Mellon Internet Society
December 22, 1997
Obviously missed the October 19th date, which is understandable if you know my schedule
Finished updating the navigation Javascripts to be 100% Netscape 2.x compatible (must still test, though)
Started (and hopefully mostly finished ;) ) work on the Star Trek and Star Wars pages
Got back into mIRC scripting.... I will release Simscript 2.0 as soon as I finish it. It will be both ircN 6.x and mIRC general compatible
Decided to shoot for the new year for at least getting the first part of the Webstravaganza online. But, then again, my deadline habit isn't reassuring
Got HomeSite to mainstream the site a wee bit more.... If only Geocities would support Active Server Pages or ColdFusion, I could get some real stuff accomplished
Worked on Fear.com articles and Geocities 'Zine questions.
October 1, 1997
Decided against maintaining a golf page, in the interests of continuity
Established tentative grand-opening date of October 19
Finished navigation Javascripts for the frames pages
Decided that the frames page was the higher priority and will finish first
Finalized some other things which I cannot remember
August 31, 1997
Changed title from Mark's Netscape Gold Home Page to Starbase Rivendell
Removed all Java applets in favor of faster and less RAM-consuming Javascript
