Logan finds himself inTelambank, a small island in Indonesia. A gang of thugs led by Banapur Khan (Prince of Pirates) captures a Sovereign Airways Airliner (Flight 49) and kills all the men. Next day, Logan trotts into the camp to find his friend Kojima Noburo, Personal secrtary of Mariko Yashida, brutally tortured and to the brink of death. In his dying breaths, he tells the gangs of thugs were hired by the Cult of the Black Blade. Their quest to find the Muramasa sword.
So Logan needs to go to Madripoor to retrieve the sacred talisman. Lindsay McCabe, ex roomate of Jessica Drew, who knows Logan flies into Madripor airport. Fearing to be recognized, Logan puts a patch on his left eye. Then 3 cult members question Ms. McCabe, as they expect her to be the courier for the Black Blade. Logan arrives to save Ms. McCabe.

Title: Possession is the Law Story : 2 / 3
Lindsay and Patch (Logan in disguised) go to meet up with Jessica Drew (ex-SpiderWoman, lost her powers back in Avengers 241) at a lowdown bar. Patch goes upstairs to find Jessica, instead finds The Silver Samurai (Keniuchio Harada). The Silver Samurai is also a mutant, his abilities is to channel energy through his Sword Blade to cut through anything. Patch cannot use his claws, or else they know he is Wolverine and now the X-Men are still alive. We found out that Jessica is enchanted by the Black Blade. She attacks both Patch and the Silver Samurai. Logan brings down the bar by collasping a wall to stop the fighting.
Lindsay makes a pact with Silver Samurai to save her best friend Jessica from the Black Blade, instead of killing her.
Patch finally catches up to Jessica, in the heat of the battle Patch saves himself by catches the blade , only to be absorbed by the Black Blade.

Title: The Black Blade Story : 3 / 3
Lindsay and the Silver Samarai interagate the 3 clan members the Patch had nocked out in Issue#1. They find the location of the Clan and go to stop Patch from sacrificing Jessica. Lindsay with a sniper rifle shoot Patch in the head.
Patch was wearing a full size Mask that was shattered by the sniper bullet. Patch finally defeats the Silver Samarai and goes to attack Lindsay and Jessica, suddenly Logan fights the enchantment and throws away the Black Blade. The Silver Samarai picks up the Black Blade and the two cancels the curse. The Black Blade has finally found it's fated Master, ther Warrior chosen for it by karma, The Silver Samarai.

Patch and Tyger get ambushed but Karma saves them from Roughouse and Bloodsport. Jessica and Lindsay finds a safehouse for Tyger to recover, while Patch and Corrigan (Tyger's personal pilot)
goes on a mission.

Title: Hunter's Moon!
Possible 1st Appearance of Hardcase and the Harriers and possibly Shotgun.
Story: 2/3
Archie Corrigan and Patch flying a DC3 into the Golden Triangle, gets ambushed by another ancient plane, a Mustang. Patch decides to jump out of the DC3 and pops his claws to shear off the Mustang's right wing and falls a thousand meters into a lake. Jessica and Lindsay bring Tyger to Mr. Chang. Jessica notices a picture of Mr. Chang and Patch, but it's a 19th Century tintype?? (This might be the first indication that Logan is really really old).
Lindsay finds an unusual cloth that is impervious to physical assault, including blows, projectiles and energy weapons. (Also it looks a lot like Psylocke's armor).
Meanwhile, Patch infiltrates the bandits. The bandits take the opium on the road and Archie had unpacked the secret crates to find, 3 Vulcan 20 MM rotary barreled cannons firing 6000 rounds of explosive shells a minute. Destroying the entire convoy.

Title: Roughouse!
Story: 3/3
Karma infiltrates the palace of The prince of Madripoor. Karma meets Patch and Archie inside the palace. Jessica, Lindsay and Tyger are held captives by General Coy (Karma's Uncle). Lindsay had put the armor (now covered in white and covering her head to toe) onto Tyger to protect her from her enemies. Only Lindsay knows where the key to take apart the armor, as Mr. Chang was killed by the life-sucking Bloodsport (Last issue).
Patch finally defeats Roughouse and Tyger (with her armor) defeats Bloodsport only to have the Prince of Madripoor to face them.

Mr. Fixit (AKA The Grey Hulk) assignment is to look for Patch (AKA Wolverine) in Madipoor. The Don fools Mr. Fixit to help out General Coy. Mr. Fixit takes care of a Motorcycle gang and then more thugs at the airport. Patch is there to briefly meet Mr. Fixit. You may recall that when the sun rises, Mr. Fixit returns back to Dr. Robert Bruce Banner.
Patch meanwhiles has a talk with Tyger and removes the mask, the ultimate key (his adamantium claws).
The Prince of Madipoor takes Lindsay to a display room to show his entire collection of all her movies, it turns out the prince is a big fan.

Title: If it Ain't Broke--!!

Hilarious Issue!! Patch has it in for Mr. Fixit. First Mr. Fixit goes for his shower, only to come back to his bedroom to find Purple pants all over his room (As you know, the Hulk is famous for his purple pants). Second, Mr. Fixit gets splash by an Madripet Semi-trailer, so being pissed that his new suit is wet, jumps into the trailer. Only to find Industrial sludge all over him. Third, a stoog calls Patch's friend a Pet Gorilla. Anyways, they break into a Slaver Ring to release a bunch of kidnapped women . Next Patch makes Mr. Fixit fall through the balcony into a powerplant (cover for Biggest Drug Factory) to fight off all the bad guys.
General Nguyen Ngoc Coy comes running and yelling at Mr. Fixit, because he was sent here to help him, instead of crippling his operation. Thus helping a rival crimelord. Mr. Fixit finds out he was tricked by the Don and leaves.
Finally, Patch sends Mr. Fixit to Los Angeles instead of Europe and into the sun!!! Later!!

Title: 24 Hours Story: 1/1
Logan vs Creed (first epic battle between Wolverine & Sabretooth). In the past Logan meets Sabretooth at the bar and wants to pay back Sabretooth for killing Silver fox. Logan was too inexperience against fighting Sabretooth. This battle was before the reinforced adamantium bones and the claws. Sabretooth easily takes care of Logan at the bar. An epic battle that see's Sabretooth holding the upper hand, clobbering Logan in the bar, in the woods and even when Logan and Sabretooth fall off a cliff. Logan learns a valuable lesson about fear and the Berserker in his soul.
In the present Patch saves a couple that was ambushed by thugs. Patch brings the injured man and distraught woman to the Madam Joy place as the ambulance will not travel to Lowtown. Madam Joy helps to the injured man out when Logan meets Jessica Drew (who used to be Spiderwoman) and heads up to her new business. Patch goes to search out the two thugs when he is ambushed by machine gun fire, a rocket launcher and a flame thrower. Patch is thrown into the water and when he finally recovers, he finds a note that says "Nobody kills you but me - especially today!". Patch knows it's from Sabretooth because it is his birthday and it was an anniversary of this first battle.
