Logan's has a nightmare where a baby is being swallowed by a monster at sea. Logan jumps aboard the cruise liner and meets 3 woman who are pregnant, Rachel, Brenda and Gretchen. While Rachel goes for a swin the monster attacks and kills her, Logan tries to stop the monster but has trouble with all the blood in the water.
Next the monster attacks Brenda and Logan chases the monster into the elevator shaft. The monster was able to grab Logan's forearm and fling his claws across the other elevator cables. Logan was able to catch the cables but leaves himself venerable to an attack.
Surely enough, the monster attacks and Logan falls down to the bottom of the elevator shaft. Two bystanders inside the elevator dies.
The monster attempts to kill the third pregnant woman, Gretchen, when Logan tackles the monster off the cruise liner and pushes the creature into the ships propellers. A million red chunky peices are scattered throughout the ocean floor.

Title: Claws over Times Square! Story : 1 / 2
Wolverine and Jubilee are in Midtown, Manhatton in search for the Hunter of Darkness. Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth are also there for the unveiling for the Hunter of Darkness.
Meanwhile, Albert is in the Morlock alley, recreating a body for Elsie-Dee. Albert is in need of high power source and ends up blacking out the power grid of where the unveiling is.
During the fight, a sniper tries to kill the Hunter of Darkness and Jubliee decides to light things up with her fireworks. The helicopter carring the cage crashes and lets loos the Hunter of Darkness.

Wolverine is fighting against Sabertooth, Lady Deathstrike and an unknown sniper. With the release of the Hunter of Darkness, can it get any worst. Well, luckily for Logan, the Hunter of Darkness remembers Logan had freed him when he was in a bear trap back in Buffalo Woods National Park, many many years agao. There's a ton of hacking and slashing in this issue.
The sniper ends up shooting everyone as the power grid has not be restored yet. The sniper first shoots Sabertooth and then shoots Lady Deathstrike off the roof of the building and then Wolverine. We find out that the sniper is Emmy Doolin. Wolverine and Sabertooth start to halucinate because she was using mercury tipped bullets.
Wolverine finally comes to his senses and takes care of the sniper. Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike and The Hunter of Darkness disappers.

Tracy Kins ( a drug attack) goes on a rampage of stealing and killing. He kills his mother and a store clerk and tries to run down two kids on bicycles.
Logan was minding his on business at a stoplight looks over at Tracy. Tracy looks over and doesn't like the way Logan was looking at him, believes he is a cop. He tries to run him over and shots Logan 3 times.
A local cop arrives and sees that Tracy was shooting Logan. Of course Logan stops him cold, but the cop doesn't realize that the gun is now empty. The cop shoots and kills Tracy.

While inside the complex Logan starts getting flashbacks of his past. He recalls the Lotus Seven he used to drive. Another flashbacks has Logan also recalls missions with his buddy Sabertooth and Masterdon vs Silver Fox (his ex-girlfriend).
Logan leaves the Research lab to have Professor X probe his mind.

Professor Xavier goes through more mental pathways and symbolic doorsways in Logan's mind. Logan experiences more flashbacks: The Weapon X project, the mission with Sabretooth (Codename: El Tigre) and Wolverine (Emilio Garra) and the Log cabin with Silver Fox.
Logan finally recovers from Professor's mind probe and decides to leave the X-mansion to find out more of the Shiva Project.

Guest Appearance of Forge and Nick Fury (Shield).
Wolverine locates the hidden warehouse that staged all his memory implants. He finds the main vault door and opens the vault with the key he found in the Lotus Seven (issue #48).
Out appears, Shiva (the Destroyer). Shiva is the program. The Killer robot is just it's tool and shiva learns from his mistakes as you can't fool him the same way twice. Wolverine eventually destroy 2 Shiva robots.
An unexpecting visit by the Hydra visits the Professor and Hines. The Professor was found dead and the Shiva program had been reset to skip Weapon X (Wolverine) and to locate and destroy Mantra (??) and Sabretooth.
