"Return of the Dragoon"

Kim Michalis (Nicole). Michalis was young Alcmene in the 1994 Hercules movie Hercules and the Amazon Women

Charles Pierard (President Jefferson). Pierard appeared in Hercules:TLJ and Xena:WPepisodes

"Sex and the Single Spy"

John Leigh (Martin). Leigh, who has appeared in "Xena: Warrior Princess" and (of course) Shortland Street gives a VERY funny performance in this episode as Martin, the well-endowed French spy and deadly assassin.

"Floundering Father"--directed by Xena and Hercules director, Chris Graves.

Hori Ahipene (Blackbeard). Ahiphene appeared in "The Piano," numerous New Zealand TV series, and of course, a Hercules and a Xena episode. And he is THE GROSSEST PIRATE!

John Sumner (Benjamin Franklin). Sumner appeared in the Hercules movie, Hercules and the Lost Kingdom. He played "Broteas" in Hercules:TLJ episode, "The Road to Calydon", and interestingly also appeared in "The Tommyknockers" and "The Frighteners".

"Once You Go Jack"--directed by Charlie Haskell, who also directed some episodes of "Xena: Warrior Princess"--most notably, one of my favorites, "The Xena Scrolls"

Jim Ngaata (Abdullah). Ngaata played a warlord in Xena:WP episode "The Ides of March"

Jodie Dorday (Kentucky Sue). That dominating character, powerful physique and kick-ass attitude...of course it's The Amazon "Solari," (the subject of many works of fan fiction), with memorable appearances in Xena episodes "The Quest" and "A Necessary Evil."

Kentucky, Jack's former partner and lover suddenly appears in Palau-Palau. In the first 5 minutes of the episode she already gets a leg up on Gov. Croque and Capt. Brogard by recognizing that the Dragoon is really Jack Stiles with a mask over his eyes. But Kentucky's eyes are only for Jack. She tries both romance and blackmail, but does not realize her plan to make Jack her husband. Silly girl, don't you know the only way to a man's heart is through his sternum? Go take a lesson at my friend Donna's Amazon page!

"The People's Dragoon"

Amy Morrison (Annie). Another of my favorite Xena guest stars-everyone remember young Hope "Maternal Instincts"? God, that episode just ripped my guts out.

"Raging Bully"

Verne Troyer (Napoleon). At first I thought this would be our first guest star never to have appeared in a Hercules or Xena episode, but a little research revealed Mr. Troyer appeared in one episode of Young Hercules, "Serpent's Tooth, A" as Baby Ruff. So the pattern remains intact. Of course, everybody knows the 2'8" actor (one of the smallest men in the world) as Mini-Me from "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," however, blockbuster that it was, Verne never got to deliver such a great line as "Admit I have a nice ass and you LIKE it!!" We will look forward to seeing Verne as Napoleon in future episodes. It is also rumored he will appear in "The Grinch" movie with Jim Carrey this Christmas.

"Daddy Dearest"

Derek Payne (Sir Rupert Smythe). Whoa, I almost thought again we had our first guest star with no Herc or Xena credits, but I dug something up. He played King Hector in the Hercules:TLJ episode "Long Live The King"
