Scully and Mulder didn't realize they were
part of an experiment perpetrated by some really nasty
looking alien-types. They had been thralls to the aliens for
months. Using mind control, the aliens had altered the
relationship to study human behavior. They dissected Mulder
and Scully's every word and action.
