Akane Tendo is Ranma's origanal fiancee.  She is the youngest doughter of Genma's best friend Soun Tendo.  She and her two sisters and father run the "Tendo Dojo of Anything Goes Martial Arts."  She is called an "uncute tomboy" by Ranma because she is also very into martial arts and can't cook.
