I N T E R V I E W

Here is my interview with the WRITER/DIRECTOR/STAR
(he plays Randy), Robert Lasowski of Scream Louder.
If you see this anywhere else, realize that it was stolen. Robert was interviewed by me via e-mail.
Again I would like to thank Robert for spending his time to answer my questions.
You are an absolute doll Robert!=)

(My Questions will have a 'Jess' before them and his answer will have a 'Robert' before them.)

Jess: Have you ever made any other films?

Robert: Yes...when I was in high school, my friends and I made a Batman movie called "Batman Retires." It featured the villains Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, and The Mad Hatter. It was a pretty fun experience. In my school, we had TV's in every class room and the movie was aired throughout the entire school. That was pretty cool.

Jess: Why did you decide to make this film?

Robert: At about the time when "Scream" was released, some friends and I were developing a movie that we would film...basically, it was to help us get into a good school. We weren't sure what to do, but after "Scream" was released we got our idea: An amateur-filmed sequel to "Scream."

Jess: How long has it taken to shoot this film?

Robert: The script was finished in February and we started shooting in March. Altogether, it's taken about seven months.

Jess: How did the casting process go about?

Robert: I went back to some of the people who were in the Batman movie. Kelli Welborn, who played Chase Meridian in "Batman Retires," was the PERFECT Gale Weathers. The rest of the cast was put together through connections of other friends.

Jess: What's the age of the cast, in general?

Robert: The cast ranges from the ages of 18-24.

Jess: Will there be lots of mystery concerning who the killer is?

Robert: Yes...it works the same way it did in "Scream." The killer could be ANYBODY.

Jess: Will there be any scenes where the killer calls the victim?

Robert: Yes. The movie opens with the killer antagonizing a young woman Casey Becker-style. The caller also calls three other people, including Sidney and Gale.

Jess: Is there lots of blood and gore in the film?

Robert: Of course...but the story is the most important thing, and I think we have a pretty good one.

Jess: What have you got planned next? Will we be seeing any more movies with your name on them in the near future?

Robert: I'm not sure. With any luck, next time you'll see my name, it'll be on the BIG screen. I'll keep my fingers crossed. We'll see.
