Maureen has a 'Casey Becker' roll in SCREAM 2. She gets killed off in the first sequence and it will be in SCREAM tradition. She sure went out with a bang. Her first and final scene is in a movie theater where her and her boyfriend got free tickets to go see the premiere of STAB!, although she really wants to see the new Sandra Bullock movie. Reluctantly-she does go in and is an avid member of the audience-shouting out the screen and winces when 'scary' things happen. But when Ghostface appears-she doesn't last too long and gets killed with hundreds of people watching.

After returning to get some refreshments her boyfriend scares her as she is going back in to watch the film. And then after she scolds him-he goes to the bathroom. There he gets killed and Ghostface puts on Phil jacket to make Sharon think its him when he goes back in the theater and sits down. Maureen doesn't notice its anyone other than Phil and hides behind his shoulder when something the frightens her during the movie. She then realizes that there's blood on Phil's jacket and then Ghostface Stabs her several times. She makes it to the front of the theater and then collapses.
