Here is where you can find the whole dish about STAB! The Movie with in SCREAM 2. This page has a ton of graphics so please be patient and wait for them all to load. Thanks and have a Stab of a time! (sorry--I just had to say it=)

The Book

STAB! is based upon the book The Woodsboro Murders by none other than Gale Weathers! After the events that took place in her life in Woodsboro-Gale thought she'd write a book about them to cash in on the trauma she had to endure that night. And oh did she cash in! The book was on the top seller lists and the rights where even bought so that they could make a movie about it. And of course Gale was getting a ton of publicity throughout the whole thing as well. With her new found success-she got out of her little 'cheesy tabloid TV show' and now as a new show out called Up to Date.

The Movie

STAB! stars some very hot and up-coming stars like Tori Spelling from the TV show Beverly Hills 90210, Heather Graham from Boogie Nights, Luke Wilson from Telling Lies in America and (not shown-just mentioned in the film) David Schwimmer from the TV show Friends.

With this type cast this movie was sure to be a hit just like the book it was based on. Premiering as the movie begins-there is a full house and the audience is ready to go! This movie also affects Sidney though. The prank calling at her dorm room starts up again opening weekend. Stupid little shits like Cory Gillis get off on calling her and acting like the killer. But Sid has toughened up and was ready for him. Caller I.D. always comes through when you need it!=)

Sneak Peak Preview

As stated above the movie was premiering as SCREAM 2 starts. Its entire opening scene consists of Stab and two main viewers, Maureen Evans and her boyfriend Phil Stevens. The two movie goers seem to be in their early 20's and they are there cause Phil received free tickets to attend the special screening. Maureen is reluctant though. She doesn't like horror movie's because they never have any African Americans in them. They are all just "Dumb white movies, with some dumb white girls getting cut up!" which is mainly true since most horror movies mainly consist of white people dying at the hands of a mean slasher. But she goes in anyways. The studio that made STAB! sent over Ghostface costumes for the audience to have at no charge so Phil and Maureen take one. They go in and sit down amongst many people with just the mask on and many with the whole costume on running around and faking deaths all over the place. The audience is so ready for the movie to get started. Everyone yelling and screaming-it looks like a circus! Maureen thinks the whole thing is utterly stupid-and rolls her eyes at them. Phil thinks its way cool and put on his mask too.

As the movie starts and the opening credits role the crowd dies down and they all take their seats. For a while at least-they get into the whole whooping and hollering at the screen. They say thinks like "No-don't do that!" Or they guys getting off when the girl takes off her robe to get in the shower. What they get to see before Maureen dies up in front of them all is Gale's and the studio's version of what happened to Casey Becker.

The Faux Casey Becker Scene

During the opening scene with Maureen and Phil-they show shots of whats happening on the screen. what they show is so far from the truth of that happened to Casey Becker its hilarious=) It opens up with the girl walking through the house in her robe getting ready to get into the shower. There's a nude scene only shown to the audience-Maureen comments that they really didn't have to show that, but Phil seems to be really happy that they did. But just as she is about to get in-the phone rings and she goes to answer it putting back on her robe.

She gets to the phone and answers it and the killer starts tormenting her. They go through several scenes written by Gale of what was thought to happen to Casey-since no one who was there survived. They throw the chair through the window-Casey runs out side by her pool and Ghostface jumps out of the window at her-she gets away, falls to the ground and gets killed. Just at around the same time poor Maureen does.

Tori Spellings Cameo Scene

Tori Spelling played Sidney Prescott in the scene they show during an interview shown on a TV in a Baskin Robins durring the movie. The scene they show is like the one in the first SCREAM when after Sid gets attacked in her house and they arrest Billy and then at school the next day Billy has been released and Sid runs into him in the hall. It is a very cheesy scene with purposly bad acting as horror movies are all supposed to have and the audience I was sitting in, including myself laughed our asses off. Luke Wilson as Billy was just too much. I mean he looked a lot like him-but his demeanor was all off-and thats what they were going for. This was totally one of the scenes that was put there to make you laugh. It was completely the way the cheesy 80's horror movies are-with the actors over acting and doing it badly.

Before they show the scene which Tori stars in-they have Tori discussing her role in STAB! with the woman shown in the picture on the left. They talk about how she felt playing the role of something that happened to a girl in real life and how she felt that that all really happened. And Tori was all bs'ing about how it was such an honor to be able to be in the movie. Which is really ironic that she is even in it because in the first SCREAM when Dewey, Tatum and Sid go into town-they are discussing the fact that if what was going on would be made into a movie-Sid says "With my luck they'd get Tori Spelling" [to play her]. And they did! Tori had her hair done all poofy as you can see in the picture to the right, and actualy played the part quite well. A snob actress and all.
