Yesiree! SCREAM was nominated for Best Film of 1997, at the MTV Movie Awards! And also Neve Compbell was nominated for Best Female Performance for her role as Sidney Prescott in SCREAM! To the left and right of this page you can see Neve Compbell and Rose McGowan on their way into the awards ceremony. All I can say is...cool clothes girlfriends!=)

At the beginning of the MTV Movie Awards, there was this Casey Becker (played by Drew Barrymore) scene spoof which they dubbed the beginning of SCREAM. It included the scenes of Casey on the phone with the killer and Mike Myers talking to Casey over the voice of the killer.

AND THE AWARD FOR BEST FILM GOES TO...

YAY! WHO HOO! YEE HAW!!=)

I knew they would win! It is after all the best horror film ever! Congratulations Guys!

Unfortunately though, Neve Campbell didn't win for best actress, Claire Danes did however for William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (which in my opinion is a really good movie too!
Congratulations Claire!=)

Neve Campbell also got to present the award for Best Male Performance alongside Gewn Stefani of No Doubt.

Maybe at Next years awards, SCREAM 2 will be nominated again! I sure hope so! We will see!
