Lady Deathstrike was once a normal human samurai, but the evil Spiral transformed her into a deadly cyborg, a process which she willingly agreed to. Believing that Wolverine had stolen the scientific process of bonding adamantium to bone that her father had developed, she agreed to become the deadly weapon she is today so that she could take her revenge. Armed with razor-sharp cybernetic claws and sheathed in alien body armor, Lady Deathstrike allied herself with a deadly cyborg named Pierce and his deadly band of mercenaries for a time. Pierce is dead, and the Reavers disbanded, but Lady Deathstrike continues ever-onward with her objective. She has tried numerous times to kill Wolverine, but has yet to succeed. Even so, she has dedicated her life to his destruction, and will go through all the X-Men, if need be, to get to him.
