Every weekday at about 5:30 am workers at the Groom Lake base are picked up at the juction of Highway 375 and US-93 who take a bus to the facility. The bus's orgin is Alamo and it enters the base via Groom Lake Road. The bus is painted white with tinted windows. Of course, whoever is in charge of the bus is unknown, but the rumors are the CIA is. The bus leaves the base at around 3:50pm and gets to Highway 375 at about 4:05pm. Just to let you know, the bus is jokingly called the "school bus."

Besides the bus and the Janet flights, there are a number of workers that enter and leave the base using private vehicles. A few of the workers may use the "back gate." The back gate is using Mercury Highway through the Nevada Test Site. The number of workers changes daily depending on what projects are going on. From what I have observed, I would estimate anywhere from 1500-2500 workers currently working at the base.
