Within the Serpent's Grasp
The Stargate Program is being shut down. Daniel fears that the destruction he has already seen will come true again and tries once again to convince Jack that what he saw was real. But even then, there seems there is nothing to do. With no Stargate Program, there is no hope of a pre-emptive strike.
Against orders, SG-1 travels to the co-ordinates from the message and arrive in a Goa'uld facility. Soon try find themselves cut off from Earth, trapped in a Goa'uld attack ship. On board is Klorel, the Goa'uld who took the body of Skaara. Also on board are several thousand heavily armed Jaffa and they are all heading for Earth.
Great Quotes:
KLOREL: "You're friend had a feeble mind, it suffered greatly and gave in easily."
Review:
So after twenty stories, it's time to see what surprises the series can
put out of its hat. Can it survive to have a second series? Well someone must
have been skimming the cash from other episodes (Politics probably) to make this.
The shear scale of the rooms on the ship is fantastic, it's bigger than the gate
room. Also the special effects are something that needed to be shouted about, not
just a single five second effect like most episodes but nearly two minutes worth of it.
The plot isn't huge, building on the series and particularly Children of
the Gods. It is great to see Skaara back, with Alexis Cruz putting in an
excellent performance. Without giving anything away I can't say much, but the ending
is fantastic. [5 out of 5]
