There are so many ways to know people.
close friends,
new friends,
friends of friends,
friends you'd love to know better,
friends you're sure you don't deserve,
and you don't even know how you got,
friends you don't know how close they are,
and don't realize until they are there for you,
friends you don't appreciate until you lose them.
friends that move away,
friends that run away,
friends that can't stand you anymore,
friends you can't stand anymore,
friends that make other friends,
and don't have time for you anymore
friends you drift away from,
because you just don't have anything else in common.
friends that no matter what you do you lose touch with,
and all you can do is watch it happen.
So many ways. . . yet still so many friends. . .?
