Physical description:
N'Borga is long, pale skinned and well musculated. His main
distinctive feature is his left ear. The tip of this ear is missing,
it was cut off by some bully's when he was 8 years old. He also has
a scar across his belly as result of surgery. He likes to swim and
run and you can tell by looking at his body: wide in the shoulders
and flat tummy.
Background:
Born in Maine and moved to San Fransisco aged 5.
Lived in back part of town.
8 yrs old he was mutilated by 15 year old punks.
They say they hated aliens.
N'Borga stated he was only half-Vulcan,
so they cut off his let eartip,.
Aged 12 he would have gone on a trip with his father's ship But he
fell ill so couldn't go. On this trip his father and his best
friend's father were believed to be Assimilated by the Borg. His
friend was killed in this incident, partially assimilated He had
always blamed himself for this He recently learned the truth about
this. His father and his friend's father are still alive. After
hearing this he decides to go by his father's name again. As they
had very much trouble locating him when the news about his father
came.
After graduating from High School he went to Starfleet Academy, On
his first attempt to honour his father,
he entered under his father's last name, Vandenbergh. He did not
make it, because of a major knee-injury. He was subsequently sent
off because the doctors thought he imagined the injury.
He reapplied under his vulcan name after 2 years of revalidating.
N'Borga continued the academy and specialized in chemical
engineering and science . After graduation with flying colours he was
sent to the COCOON-fleet He started training on the Destiny and was
promoted 14.0106 to ensign and assigned to USS HERMES as CEO On
14.0801 he was promoted to lt-jg
Sadly the USS Hermes was decommissioned at SD 16.0210 after which he
was
recommisioned to the Horizon as CEO.
SD 16.0410 he got news of a terrible accident on Earth, killing his
girlfriend.
In order to cope with this he and his friend Stan the Man ( see bio )
requested
And were granted 1 ( one ) year LOA the next day.
SD 17.0411 he rejoined the fleet and was assigned to DS101 as CScio
Personal profile:
N'Borga is very serious when working but is known to show emotional
responses every now and then. When off duty he is known to let his
mind wander off. He likes to go for a swim or a run in the woods
with his dog. His greatest hobbies are chess, play card games and
solve puzzles He has a holographic friend called Stanley, who is
programmed to act as an emergency councelling hologram. He was
programmed by some CNS as StarFleet Academy.
Education:
N'Borga is intelligent and completed several years at the academy.
He majored in chemical engineering and science. On his standard
Military Training Course he was his unit's field medic He served a
tour of duty at a maintenance coy. He thinks education is a
necessary burden. This does not mean he hates to study. He spends
part of his free time catching up on the latest developments in his
field of interrest
