Who Cares?
This is my tribute to one of the darkest TV programs ever: Millennium. From the mighty Chris Carter, creator of The X-Files, the program packs an incredibly dark and gritty atmosphere, dredging up the deepest fears and horrors of the pre-millennial world. Scary stuff! If you haven't seen it, take a look... with a strong stomach...
Worry
The series concentrates on Frank Black, an FBI profiler who left the bureau to protect his family. He now works with The Millennium Group, an organisation dedicated to enforcing the law and creating order from the chaos which has become rife in pre-millennial society. More sinister and powerful than the X-Files, the programme shares certain paranormal links, though in a way which reflects true-life - contrasting with the more fantastic or conspiratorial imagery of X-Files. Frank's own incredible 'super-perceptual' ability which allows him to see through a killer's eyes, almost sharing their thoughts and emotions is one such aspect of this - is it just an extension of his in-depth knowledge and imagination, or is it something more powerful?
