Your life may be like a story. If it is written as a play, you may be one of the performers in that play. Or perhaps you may even be directing the actions of some of the players, demonstrating some leadership of yourself as well as others. If it is written as a novel, you are not an active participant. Instead you are only acting as an observer. Which is participation, but is not nearly as much fun as playing at being someone you would rather be.

With practice you can learn to identify and understand the forces which envelop your life. When you comprehend them, you can modify and maneuver them as you wish. Or leave them as they are, depending on how beautiful they are to you.

Once you have committed yourself the big question is; Are you going to be faithful because you want to or because you have to?
