My Comments

This is a direct follow on from Lion of Macedon and follows Parmenion and Alexander.

Again you get a wonderful insight into Ancient Greek society and life, but Gemmell also explores the dark side of your character, and some of the words you read will make your skin tingle!

The Sipstrassi stones do come into the story with Aristotle appearing, which links in nicely to some of the other Sipstrassi books.

Although the two books are by no means my favourite, I found them curiously compelling, enough for me to be able to recommend them highly!
