My Comments

My oh my.....well, what can I say about this book? Firstly the way Gemmell goes back into the time before Legend is wonderful. The way you discover how the Temple of Thirty came into being, starts slotting pieces of the 'Drenai' puzzle into your brain, and you realise then that it's going to be a long haul to find all the pieces, but a dead exciting one in the process!
Waylander is a great character and the way you learn about him as a person, and what his life has been is a fascinating journey. All the way through the book, you are torn between wanting him to succeed in life and wanting him to pay for his crimes....let me know which you think triumphs!?
