My Comments

This book carries on chronologically from Waylander, but at the same time it also allows you to see the time before Legend, adding more pieces to that wonderful 'Drenai' puzzle! Waylander again is a wonderful character. When you finish the book, you almost feel as though it could have been you, loping around the countryside, taking place in battles and hunts. Even your body seems to have turned into this sleek fighting machine!...then you go to the shops, and realise, nope, you're stuck with your body! But it does make you think about taking up sword fighting, or a martial art....c'mon, I know you guys felt the same! *g* Amazing story, showing Gemmell has had a plan all along in this 'Drenai' series and is not writing about randomn events. It will be interesting to see what other books he's got planned! My recommendation?....read it NOW! What more can I say!
