My Comments

This is such a powerful book, that the only word I can think of to describe it is 'wow'!
Jon Shannow is an amazing character, who reminds me of Clint Eastwood in the film Pale Rider (i don't know if the character of Jon is based on him, but it certainly seems that way!) I think Shannow rivals Waylander as my fave ever character, what is it about mean, yet caring men!? *g*
Religion is explored quite heavily in this book, which can be distracting, but if you struggle through, you see there is a meaning to it. As someone who doesn't adhere to Christianity, I found it annoying in places, but the overall book is so good, you forget about that side of it as you read on!
The Sipstrassi Stones as a concept are fascinating, just think, what would you do with them, if you could get your hands on one? C'mon, confess! I'm looking forward to rereading the other Sipstrassi Novels, to surprise myself again with the stones' history.
