Wrentham has signed DLs Kavika Pittman and Raylee Johnson.
2000 Draft
Wrentham has drafted T Kane Lester, WR Duane Cook, and LB Horace Shoemaker. Lester is expected to start on the OL
this season.
Retirements
Five players have retired from the 1999 Wrentham Rocketeers. FB Mike Cloud, S Todd Scott, DE Tony Siragusa,
CB Todd Lyght, and C Ian Beckles.
Signings
After the final round of free agency, Wrentham has signed 8 new players and resigned 1 player to its team. Wrentham's
new members are Pro Bowl TE Ernie Conwell, CB Stan Seale, HB Eddie George, HB Terry Kirby, LB Zach Thomas, S Tom Carter,
FB Robert Wilson, and WR Sean Dawkins. Wrentham resigned CB Tyrone Hughes. Also, Wrentham renogiated and extended
the contracts of 3 players, S Andre Cooper, LB Jason Chorak, and C Olin Kreutz.

Injuries
Week 4- In the game against Long Island, tackle Tony Boselli got injured with a ruptured tendon and will be out
for 10-12 weeks.
Trade News
1999 Week 1-2 Wrentham has traded CB Brian Dawkins to Moffat for WR Andre Cooper.
Retirements
Six players have retired from Wrentham's team this year. They players are T Scott Dill, FB Daryl Johnston, DE
Marvin Washington, DT Keith McCants, S Bennie Blades, and Pro-Bowl K Al Del Greco. Coach Todd Hester was disapointed at the loss of so many good players.
Signings
1999 Week 1-2 Wrentham has signed OL Keith Sims, DL Mark Wheeler, and LB Eddie Robinson. Wheeler and
Sims will both become starters.
Wrentham has reportedly signed all of its 1999 draft picks to two year deals.
Wrentham signed 17 players in the first two days of free agency. They resigned many players from last year,
including: Joey Galloway, Tony Boselli, Brad Culpepper, Keith Cash, Todd Scott, and Mark Stepnoski. New
players that were signed to the team include fullback Fred McCrary, kicker John Carney, OL Jeremy *Martin,
OL Derek West, DE Santana Dotson, QB Todd Collins, and LB Damien Covington. The only important loss to
free agency was DE Anthony Cook, who was acquired in a trade last year. He was signed by Alabama. However,
Wrentham's DL is still strong with two new rookies and Brad Culpepper getting resigned. Some other departing
players include Bob Kratch, Scott Mitchell, and Godfrey Miles.
The new players to make the largest contribution to the team will probably be Fred McCrary, Santana Dotson,
and John Carney.
Draft News
Wrentham selected DTs Jared DeVries(1) and Russell Davis(3) in the 1999 HTFL Draft to help improve their defensive
line after the loss of DT Keith McCants. Wrentham also drafted WR David Boston(2), CB Tony George(6), and HB Mike
Cloud(7).
