Here is what is needed when submitting a character. However, as there is not currently a game running, please do not submit characters. Check back periodically, as a game could start any time.
Ability Scores
For Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Constitution, and Charisma, distribute 85 points. For fighter exceptional strength, use one point per 10%.
Races Allowed
I allow all races from the 2nd edition AD&D Player's Handbook, as well as some from the various racial handbooks. (Clear all races--such as those from the Humanoid's Handbook--and odd races--such as drow--with me before submitting them.)
Classes
I allow all classes from the PHB (with the exception of Druids, which I do not allow), and many kits from the various handbooks. I have all the handbooks, so if you are interested in playing a kit, let me know.
Alignments
Any, save evil.
Proficiencies
I use all weapon and non-weapon proficiencies in the PHB, and many from the other handbooks. Use Intelligence extra languages for added NWP.
Equipment
I do not have "starting gold". Instead, give your character the equipment you think he/she will need to begin. (Use common sense with this. I will not allow plate mail, hand crossbows, spyglasses, or other expensive items.)
Weapons
I use weapons from the PBH, and the Arms and Equipment Guide. I do not use those from the Combat and Tactics book, as I do not own it. If you want a unique weapon, clear it with me first.
Magic Items
NONE. No first level character will start with magic items. However, if you tell me what it is you want, your character may just happen to come across it somewhere in the game. (And if you are playing a paladin, do not think a +5 Holy Avenger is outrageous, as I do strange things in my game... That goes with any class. After all, it never hurt to ask...)
Spells
I use Mana points for spells. The way this works is as follows:
Mages start with 3 mana points, and clerics start with 5 mana points. The character gains 1 point of mana for each point of Intelligence (for mages) or Wisdom (for clerics) over 15. (Thus, a mage with an INT of 17 would start with 5 mana points.) Spell cost is as follows, for both classes:

Mana points are gained by resting. If the character goes about normal travel, he/she gains them back at a rate of 1/hour. If the character does not do anything strenuous (ie, if he/she sits and eats, drinks, or just rests) he/she gains them back at a rate of 2/hour. If the character is sleeping, he/she gains them back at a rate of 3/hour. If the character does anything strenuous (ie, combat), he/she does not gain back any mana.
Background
As this is taking place in my world, and no one knows much about it, and it would take too much time to describe, only tell me things about, say, family history, etc. Do not go into much detail about where your character grew up. The only world I am familiar with is Forgotten Realms, but as characters are teleported to my world, any information on this world would not be very useful. Only use, say, if your character's family was killed, and you were the only survivor, or stuff like that.
Physical description
Tell me about your character's hair/eye color, height, weight, sex, age, etc. Be pretty descriptive here. "Show" me your character. If you have a picture, e-mail it to me. It will be more helpful for me to visualize something if I don't have to visualize much.
Experience
All characters start at zero (0).
When you have your character, simply mail it to me, and I will review it.
