Vindicator

Heather McNeil was born into a large family and had the pleasure of being the neighbor of Dr. Michael Twoyoungmen. When Elizabeth Twoyoungmen left her father it was the McNeil's that she went to live with. Heather and Liz grew up together as close as sisters. Heather then went on to become the secretary of Jerome Jaxxon at Am-Can at the tender age of 17. Working there she met her future husband James Hudson. When Hudson left Am-Can Heather went with him quitting as well. It was Heather that told Jimmy that he should go to the government with his problem and when they helped him she also got a job at the Department of National Defense.

When Alpha was disbanded it was Heather who got the team back together by bringing them calling them all to help her do gooder husband defend the great white north. Heather also was witness to Mac's death when his suit supposedly blew him up. She believed it was her distraction that caused his death. Later she took up the mantle of team leader using the same electromagnetic battle suit technology as her husband and used the code name Vindicator. During this period she had a fling with team member Maddison Jeffries. At the time of her husbands reappearance she changed names to Guardian and he became Vindicator (for reasons beyond me). Her husband died and returned another time but not for as long this time and after that they were generally happy till the disbanding of the team.

Recently Heather has been abducted along with Puck to serve in the new Alpha Flight. She has been given a new battle suit that now controls geothermal powers though she has not completely mastered it yet. She also currently goes by the code name Vindicator again with the team being led by Mac. She is still also a bit confused and frustrated with the new 19 year old Mac Hudson.
