Colin was an employee of those good people at Roxxon oil until he discovered the captured James Hudson. Forge and Madison Jeffries managed to free Hudson and Colin quit. Windshear took his hard air generation powers over to the good guys of Alpha Flight joining the team (He brought back Mac!). After a short period Windshear took on the administrative duties of the team and after the final breakup (And end of volume 1) he has disappeared from view.
