The Imperial Tie Defender

The TIE-Defender is the latest model developed for the Imperial Fleet by Sienar Fleet Systems. Its exact specifications are not totaly known, but Sienar Fleet Systems does admit that the Defender is equipped with deflector shields and hyperspace capability. They are also saying that it carries a special tractor beam device that can keep enemy ships from escaping for a certain period of time, long enough for the Defender to use one of its deadly weapons. The Defender seems to be the miracle weapon Grand Admiral Thrawn was waiting for, but unfortunately the details known of the Defender have not been made public . Whoever wants to know more has to visit the SFS docks.
