The gargoyles in the Soulblade campaign are different from those described in the pages of the Monstrous Manual. They are a race of biological individuals, with families, leaders, and beleifs of their own.

Combat: High gargoyles are fearsome warriors, agile and strong in combat. They attack with their claws (1d4x2), their tails (1d6), and with their wings (1d4x2). Some gargoyles will use a magical longsword in lieu of their claws thus allowing the use of a shield. Like their lesser cousins, high gargoyles love to swoop down on their prey striking for 2d4 points of damage and taking to the air before their opponents can return the strike.

Habitat/Society: High gargoyles live in small family groups,

Ecology: Unlike their lesser cousins high gargoyles require food for they reproduce and grow older naturally. Like their lesser cousins, the horns and bones of a high gargoyle can be used in a potion of flying or potion of invulnerability.

Outcasts: Outcasts are gargoyles that have been accused of crimes that have led to them being banished. They are identical to regular high gargoyles, and will probably be (75% chance) accompanied by either centaurs (10%), humans (40%), Gnolls (20%), other gargoyles (25%), Gremlins (3%) or Harpies (2%) who act as his subordinates.
