Below ist a listing of what positions the Celtic Highlanders of Britannia offer, what requirements thou must meet to secureth one of these positions and what one must do to maintaineth thy seat. Also listed below art apparel guidelines for CHB, meanings of titles/divisions and what one must do to be allowed to advance further.










New Recruits
Requirements for Admittance: 1) We doth asketh that all potential members readeth our guildpage before making a definate decision to join our guild. 2) We doth asketh that all potential members have at least one months time in the world of Sosaria. 3) We recommend that all potential members seeketh out CHB members and converse with them or perhaps even go on adventures with them before applying for guild membership. 4) We doth asketh that all potential members attendeth at least one guild meeting.
Title: Once accepted into CHB thou shalt be given the title Crai Adfilwr or Crai Adfilwyr which ast one might guess, dost meaneth "New Recruit".
Required Apparel: CHB dost believeth in individuality ast mentioned before. Because of this we doth not demand a guild -uniform- be worn constantly ast some guilds might. Instead we hath what might be called -casual- attire. We doth asketh all New Recruits to wear some form of clothing be it a cloak, headwear, sash, dress, tunic, surcoat, etc., in maroon. It dost not matter what article of clothing ist this color ast long ast the Guild color ist shown somehow.
Requirements to Maintain this Position: A New Recruit must maintaineth a good name throughout the realm. This dost not necessarily meaneth -title- but dost meaneth their character. A New Recruit must show support to the guild be it by attending meetings, events, by tithing, wearing their ranking color, by being an active member or any number of things. If a New Recruit ist absent for an extended period of time it shall be assumed he or she dost not wisheth to remain a member and he or she shall be removed from the guild at the Guild Leaders discretion. However, this removal shall be waived if notice ist given to said Guild Leader and the Recruit shall then be placed upon the -non-active- roster.
Requirements for Advancement: A New Recruit must hath shown support and loyalty to the guild by various means before advancement possibilities shall even be considered. If these attributes hath been shown satisfactorily enough to the Recruits Chief and/or Guild Leader, a ceremony wilst be held in honor of the Guild Member. The shedding of their old title shall occur and the newly earned title wilst then be given to them to confirmeth their advancement.










Regular Guild Members
Titles: Ast a Regular Guild Member thou shalt be given a division and title to distinguish thyself from New Recruits. Currently there art five divisions to chooseth from. The Warrior's Division, the Mage's Division, the Archer's Division, the Bard's Division, and the Merchants Division. The titles for these Divisions art ast follows: Rhyfelwr-female warrior, Rhyfelwyr-male warrior; Dewin-female mage, Dewiniaid-male mage; Saethwr-female archer, Saethwyr-male archer; Bardd-female bard, Beirdd-male bard; Marchnatawr-female merchant, Marchnatawyr-male merchant.

Requirements to Maintain this Position: A bit more ist expected of a Regular Guild Member then a New Recruit. A Regular Member must maintaineth a good name throughout the realm. This dost not necessarily meaneth -title- but dost meaneth their character. A Regular Member must show support to the guild be it by attending meetings, events, by tithing, wearing their ranking color, by being an active member or any number of things. Regular Members art expected to help New Recruits where needed, be it by offering advice, sparring with them, hunting with them, introducing them to known allies, showing them how to equip for adventuring or other various ways. Regular Guild Members art akin to elder siblings in this way, ast Sub-Chiefs, Chiefs or the Guild Leader may naught always hath time to spend with New Recruits to showeth them how to survive in Sosaria. If a Regular Member ist absent for an extended period of time it shall be assumed he or she dost not wisheth to remain in the guild and he or she shall be removed from the guildstone at the Guild Leaders discretion. However, this removal shall be waived if notice ist given to said Guild Leader and the Regular Member shall then be placed upon the -non-active- roster.
Requirements for Advancement: A Regular Guild Member must hath shown support and loyalty to the guild by various means before advancement possibilities shall even be considered. If these attributes hath been shown satisfactorily enough to the Regular Members Chief and/or Guild Leader, then a task or quest shall be given according to the Guild Members skill level/s. Upon completion of said task or quest with proof verifying the finish, a ceremony wilst be held in honor of the Regular Guild Member. The shedding of their old title shall occur and the newly earned title wilst then be given to them to confirmeth their advancement.










Sub-Chiefs
Title: When a Regular Guild Member hast moved to this position the word Ail shall be added to their title. The word dost meaneth "Second" which to this guild dost meaneth a Second Chief or Sub-Chief.
Required Apparel: CHB dost believeth in individuality ast mentioned before. Because of this we doth not demand a guild -uniform- be worn constantly ast some guilds might. Instead we hath what might be called -casual- attire. We doth asketh all Sub-Chiefs to wear some form of clothing be it a cloak, headwear, sash, dress, tunic, surcoat, etc., in maroon. It dost not matter what article of clothing ist this color ast long ast the Guild color of CHB ist shown somehow.
Requirements to Maintain this Position: Sub-chiefs art the extra eyes and ears for the Counselors, Chiefs and Guild Leader. Much ist expected of them in the ways of helping fellow Guildmates out. A Sub-Chief must maintaineth a good name throughout the realm. This dost not necessarily meaneth -title- but dost meaneth their character. A Sub-Chief must show support to the guild be it by attending meetings, events, by tithing, wearing their ranking color, by being an active member or any number of things. Sub-Chiefs art expected to help New Recruits -and- Regular Members when and where needed. Responsibilities shall be given each Sub-Chief at their Chiefs discretion and the number of Sub-Chiefs shall be determined by the size of that particular Division. If a Sub-Chief ist absent for an extended period of time it shall be assumed he or she dost not wisheth to remain in the guild and he or she shall be removed from the guildstone at the Guild Leaders discretion. However, this removal shall be waived if notice ist given to said Guild Leader and the Sub-Chief shall then be placed upon the -non-active- roster.
Requirements for Advancement: A Sub-Chief must hath shown support and loyalty to the guild by various means before advancement possibilities shall even be considered. If these attributes hath been shown satisfactorily enough to the Sub-Chiefs Guild Leader, then a task or quest shall be given according to the Guild Members skill level/s. Upon completion of said task or quest with proof verifying the finish, a vote shall be taken by the Inner Circle to approve or disapprove the advancement. If the Sub-Chief ist approved for the Counselor position, a ceremony wilst be held in honor of them. The shedding of their old title shall occur and the newly earned title wilst then be given to them to confirmeth their advancement.










Counselors
Title: When a Sub-Chief hast moved to this position the word Cyngor or Cynghorion shall be their new title. The words doth meaneth "Female or Male Counselor".
Required Apparel: CHB dost believeth in individuality ast mentioned before. Because of this we doth not demand a guild -uniform- be worn constantly ast some guilds might. Instead we hath what might be called -casual- attire. We doth asketh all Counselors to wear some form of clothing be it a cloak, headwear, sash, dress, tunic, surcoat, etc.. in maroon. It dost not matter what article of clothing ist this color ast long ast the Guild color of CHB ist shown somehow.
Requirements to Maintain this Position: Counselors art a vital link betweeneth the Chiefs, Guild Leader and other Guildmembers. Their position ist naught always an easy one and because of this they art part of what we doth calleth the "Inner Circle". Even more ist expected of them then the New Recruits, Regular Guild Members and Sub-Chiefs combined. A Counselor must maintaineth a good name throughout the realm. This dost not necessarily meaneth -title- but dost meaneth their character. A Counselor must show support to the guild be it by attending meetings, events, by tithing, wearing their ranking color, by being an active member or any number of things. They also doth hath the extra responsiblity of helping their Chief in any conceivable way possible. This mayeth include setting up outings for that particular divisions members, helping set up a quest or task for a New Recruit, Regular Member or Sub-Chiefs advancement or stepping in for their Chief when he or she ist unavailable to attendeth and address the guild at meetings, events, gatherings, etc. If a Counselor ist absent for an extended period of time it shall be assumed he or she dost not wisheth to remain in the guild and he or she shall be removed from the guildstone at the Guild Leaders discretion. However, this removal shall be waived if notice ist given to said Guild Leader and the Counselor shall then be placed upon the -non-active- roster.
Requirements for Advancement: A Counselor must hath shown support and loyalty to the guild by various means before advancement possibilities shall even be considered. If these attributes hath been shown satisfactorily enough to the Counselors Guild Leader, then a task or quest shall be given according to the Guild Members skill level/s. Upon completion of said task or quest with proof verifying the finish, a vote shall be taken by the Inner Circle to approve or disapprove the advancement. If the Counselor ist approved for the Chief position, a ceremony wilst be held in honor of them. The shedding of their old title shall occur and the newly earned title wilst then be given to them to confirmeth their advancement.










Chiefs
Title: When a Counselor hast moved to this position the word Pen shall be added to their title. The word dost meaneth "First or Chief".
Required Apparel: CHB dost believeth in individuality ast mentioned before. Because of this we doth not demand a guild -uniform- be worn constantly ast some guilds might. Instead we hath what might be called -casual- attire. We doth asketh all Chiefs to wear some form of clothing be it a cloak, headwear, sash, dress, tunic, surcoat, etc., in maroon. It dost not matter what article of clothing ist this color ast long ast the Guild color of CHB ist shown somehow.
Requirements to Maintain this Position: Chiefs art the strong shoulders upon which the Guild Leader dost standeth upon. Without their support the Guild Leader cannot function properly. Because of this the Chiefs of this guild art part of what we doth calleth the "Inner Circle". If the Guild Leader sets the direction, then tis the Chiefs who are the mechanisms which steer, whilst tis the Counselors/Sub-Chiefs who art the oil to help keepeth things running smoothly and the Regular Members/New Recruits for which tis all done. A Chief must maintaineth a good name throughout the realm. This dost not necessarily meaneth -title- but dost meaneth their character. A Chief must show support to the guild be it by attending meetings, events, by tithing, wearing their ranking color, or any number of things. Chiefs art expected to be active members within the guild, to help -all- guildmates no matter their rank, to lead events, gatherings, adventures, to make appearances at the functions allies hold, and sometimes lead meetings when the Guild Leader ist absent. They shouldst be approachable to all, visit the guildsite regularly, and post messages upon the board when deemed appropriate. When one in their Division dost wisheth to move up in rank, they must coordinate with their Guild Leader a set quest or goal for the guildmate to attain. They shalt help determine many things within the guild and must taketh their responsibility seriously, ast tis..very much so. If a Chief ist absent for an extended period of time it shall be assumed he or she dost not wisheth to remain in the guild and he or she shall be removed from the guildstone at the Guild Leaders discretion. However, this removal shall be waived if notice ist given to said Guild Leader and the Chief shall then be placed upon the -non-active- roster.
Requirements for Advancement: A Chief must hath shown support and loyalty to the guild by various means before advancement possibilities shall even be considered. If the Guild Leader shouldst decideth to step down, then tis his or her responsiblity to chooseth a successor. After this hast been done, the "Inner Circle" shall then take a vote to determine if this individual ist someone -they- wouldst liketh to represent the Guild. If this vote ist positive then the remainder of the guild shalt cast -their- votes to determine if this individual ist someone they deem capable of being the type of Guild Leader they desire. If the majority votes yes, then the Chief shalt be the new Guild Leader..thereby taking on -all- the responsibilities which doth go with the title.










Guild Leader
Title: When a Chief hast moved to this position his or her new title shall be Arweinydd. The word doth meaneth "Leader".
Required Apparel: CHB dost believeth in individuality ast mentioned before. Because of this we doth not demand a guild -uniform- be worn constantly ast some guilds might. Instead we hath what might be called -casual- attire. We doth asketh the Guild Leader to wear some form of clothing be it a cloak, headwear, sash, dress, tunic, surcoat, etc., in maroon. It dost not matter what article of clothing ist this color ast long ast the Guild color of CHB ist shown somehow.
Requirements to Maintain this Position: The Guild Leader ist the backbone of the guild. He or she ist the one who determines in which direction the guild shall take. The Guild Leader hast the last word on all decisions and his or her word upon a subject ist the final one. Of course many may sway the paths by voting or voicing their opinions, but in the end..tis the Guild Leader who must finalize them. The Guild Leader must maintaineth the respect and confidence of the majority of his or her guildmates. If this ist in question and if the Inner Circle dost agree, then the Guild Leader will be asked to step down and chooseth a successor. All in all, the Guild Leader dost hath -many- roles he or she must play to keepeth the guild going in the proper direction.
Requirements for Advancement: Being Guild Leader ist the highest rank in the Celtic Highlanders of Britannia.
