His parents were both in starfleet, during the last
Borg invasion. They were assigned to the same ship,
which was the first to be attacked. They were
running border defense along the neutral zone when
the borg attacked. Their ship was found intact, with
no crew left aboard. It is assumed that the entire
crew of 312 was assimilated. He was 11 at the time,
and went through a great period of grief, which some
councillors believe he never came out of. Since that
time he has never shown any anger except for two
incidents. The first was at Mars University when he
unexplainably detonated a 21st century earth 'plasma
bomb' in what is believed to be a suicide attempt.
He recieved only minor plasma burns and was released
from hospital two weeks later. The second incident
was at Starfleet Academy, when he was running
maneuvers in fighters in the asteroid belt. He began
firing pulse guns randomly destroying asteroids. He
did not stop until his energy battery was depleted.
No one was hurt. It is believed that this is due to
seizures of some sort, possibly epileptic, although
no diagnosis is possible due to the extremely strange
nature of his affliction. It is noted that he
appeared to be what some described as a 'zombie' for
approximately half an hour before snapping. He
should be viewed with caution if ever seen to be in
some sort of a trance that cannot be broken.
