PC Cheats

                  To get the bonus track, Monolithic Studios, on the main menu screen type
                   hollywood.To indicate that the cheat worked you will hear a
                   "swoosh".Then check out the locations menu and you'll see the new bonus
                   track.
                   To drive the bonus car, Ford Indigo, download the Ford Indigo Patch 1 or
                   the Ford Indigo Patch 2. Then unzip the n2patch.zip and read the
                   readme.txt file.
                   To drive the more secret cars, eg. UFO, Tour Bus. Download the Secret
                   Car Patch 1 or the Secret Patch 2 or even the Secret Patch 3. Then unzip it
                   and run the file.
                   Type pioneer during the main menu to upgrade all cars to "Pioneer
                   Engines". Making the cars go faster, and have better handling.
                   Type slip during the main menu to make the track sliipery.
                   Type in the below codes at any main menu to allow you to drive the civilian
                   cars.

The Shortcuts for Need For Speed 2!

Pacific Spirit

After the 360 degree cement turn drive onto the green grass, after a while you will start driving onto brown dirt. On the dirt take a right into the trees. There will be another small dirt trail when you are inside the trees. Follow the path and if you gain a lot of speed the jump near the end will be enormus. On the first turn you will see a parking lot on the left side of the road. Turn into it. After following through the parking lot you will drive onto green grass. After the grass area take a left to get back onto the road.

North Country

After the tunnel with a sharp left you may see a hidden turn to the right leading to a hill. If you cannot see it just turn. Follow the hill and at the bottom take a right to get yourself back onto the road.

Mediterran

When you usually pass the first windmill, instead take a quick right to go off a jump. Before leaving the town, take a right up onto a ledge. It leads to a jump flying the rest of the way down the town. After the bridge and before the first windmill, keep left and you should be able to drive behind windmills.

Proving Grounds

Near the end of the course, take a left to drive into the offical Need For Speed 2 pitlane.

Mystic Peaks

So far, we have found no shortcuts for this course. Come back soon.

Outback

After you pass the old town in the dirt you should later follow on to white sand. About half way through the sand take a right to the side of the road. Soon you will fly over an invisible jump giving you tons of air and lots of distance.

When you come near the first sharp turn, right after it keep going straight. When the turn comes when you are turning close to the water (the water is at your left), take it to the far right instead driving on the dirt.

Monolithic Studios

First try the shortcut driving slowly. The shortcut is located near the cabins in the Jurassic Park section of the course. It is a the tallest peak in the small hill. It should be noticed easily. To do the shortcut properly you will have to go fast (70mph+). To get there fast you will have to do a go near the shark and put your gear to nuetral. When your ready to go, shift up to first gear. Start driving and do not let go of accel. Do a turn using hand brake up to the high peak of land. Driving up the peak you should land into an area. This area has not yet been described. If you crash into the side, you are in the wrong place.

                      Playstation Cheats

                   Type the following codes in the password entry screen (select Options and
                   then Password):
                        LILZIP -- enables you to drive the Ford Indigo
                        SHOTME -- Monolithic Studios bonus track
                        POWRUP -- upgrades all cars to Pioneer Engines - makes them
                        faster, and have better handling.
                   To race in any of the 9 camera views normally only available during
                   replays: select Race, then press and hold L1, L2, R1, R2, cross, square,
                   circle, and triangle (all four trigger and all four action buttons), until the
                   race begins. You can now select from 9 different camera views instead of
                   4.
                   Type in the below codes at the password entry screen to allow you to
                   drive the civilian cars.
