Grammar
The Rihannsu grammar system is a subject-verb-object arrangement, similar to Standard and Vulcan. There may be several words joined together, leaving the unsuspecting reader to wonder where which word ends and the next begins. This arrangement is not extremely common, though instances do occur, especially in military aspects.
Nouns are capitalized only when in reference to a name or the military. Titles of civilians, and the fvillhaih, are not capitalized, nor should they be in normal writing. Military ranks, however, are to be capitalized at all times, regardless of the word's position on the sentence.
Most verbs in the Rihannsu vocabulary are action verbs, as fits the race. Most verbs need a subject, though some need none, using the pronoun 'you'(the listener or reader) as the subject.
Pronouns in Rihannsu are limited to the present verb tense, and appear in all three persons, though first person is the least common used.
Adverbs are built from adjectives by the use of a suffix. This suffix is itself usually an adjective in the first place.
Suffixes
Most suffixes are added to a word by an apostrophe, unless the suffix is denoting an action or pronoun.
asz - denotes place-name
in - standard plural denotation
asi - Rihannsu equivalent to 'ing'
'al - diminutive
Prefixes
lh' - verb notation for past tense
v' - verb notation for future tense
Sentence rules
Adjective normally comes after the noun. If it comes before it is contracted and becomes a prefix.
Look at this:
Vaed'rae, Enarrain: rhi siuren dha, iehhyak 'haerh s'Vega rhudhe dvaer.
The general translation of this is. "Listen, Enarrain, in five minutes puncture the Vega's holds with disruptors.
Literal translation is: Listen, Senior Centurion, five minutes in, disruptors cargo holds of the Vega use to puncture.
Notice the word order. In comes after five minutes. The noun comes BEFORE what you are to do with it.
