As you walk closer to the open doorway of the library, you hear a voice, not quite human, reading off a short poem...
The Snowbird
Frank Dempster Sherman
When all the ground with snow is white,
The merry snowbird comes,
And hops about with great delight
To find the scattered crumbs.
How glad he seems to get to eat
A piece of cake or bread!
He wears no shoes upon his feet,
Nor hat upon his head.
But happiest is he, I know,
Because no cage with bars
Keeps him from walking on the snow
And printing it with stars.
As you walk into the library, you see a peculiar sight, a silver dragon wrapped around a stand holding a book. As the dragon finishes reading, she looks up, and greets you.
"Hello friend. This is my library."
"I mostly keep poems here. There are a few of my brother's as well. Please take a look around." She waves a foreclaw around the room, "Make yourself at home," passing by a couch with lots of pillows. "Would you like some hot chocolate?"
