The
Rituals I have here:
1. Casting a Circle-the Wiccan
way.
2. Casting a Circle-the Shaman
way.
3. Initiation Ceremony
4. Full Moon Ritual.
5. Yule Ceremony.
NOTE: If you don't don't know what a specific thing in a rite means (EVERYTHING means something, e.g.- I don't just use a Bowl of Water cause I feel like it!), feel free to ask or to skip the part totally, understanding is more important then doing (it's like poetry, if you understand something else then what was intended, that's good too, but you gotta know what you're doing).

After saying the general rhythm, turn to each direction while talking
about it, starting from the East.
If you want you can blow on the bowl while turning East, light a candle
in it while turning South, put water in it while turning West and sand
in it while turning North.
(General)
Stand up and make a circle around you with your finger, while doing so, imagine a line of flames coming from the tip of your finger, and surrounding you.
(Can be changed for each direction)
"I travel between the bounds of directions and time,
And now turning to the ...
Seek I the Wisdom, Protection and power
Help my, old Gods of the...
come to me, and help me with the task ahed"
This circle, when been cast properly, can sometimes even cause a feeling that you are drifting!
Closing (opening) the Circle (additional):
The Circle can simply be opened by imagining all the flames around
you gather and focus in one place in the North, and imagine the energy
sinking to the ground.
End by saying: "This Circle is Open but is never Broken."
You may hold a candle or something else in that size between your hands, pay attention to the modification this may cause to the Dance.
Starting from the East (the place of beginning and sunlight.). Begin in a stooping (????) position, and then raise up, your back strait, and spread your hands up to the air from your body out (like an flower opening, think about it!). Take a deep breath. Welcome the Elements.
Then gather the hands back inside, in a cross on your chest, taking in the Energy. Lower your head in greeting, and kneel to the ground.
Do the same to every direction, take as much time as you need. Feeling and thinking about the Elements joining in to a Full Circle is very important, for there is not even now word said. But you can add as many words you want to this simple summoning. You can also, and most welcome, to develop more motions to this dance, and to make this simple summoning, a full trance dance!
Best Time:New moon.
Things to Prepare:
1. Prepare the room and the altar, on the altar place the bowl, the
glasses, the oil and the water, and the salt.
2. Light five candles: Blue (water), Green (earth), Yellow or Orange
(fire), White or Aqua (air), and Purple (spirit). Place four of the candles
on the ground around you, the blue heading West, the green North, the White/
Aqua East and the Yellow/ Orange South, leave the purple candle on the
altar.
3. Use burning oils to make smell in the room, don't use Incense.
The Ceremony:
1. Take the salt, put it in the bowl on the altar and open the windows.
Pass your hand over the salt. Take the bowl, and spread the salt, first
on the altar, then on the ground around you and then the rest of the room,
when you are done say:
"This place is now pure, there is no evil or harm in it
All the past is gone, this is a new beginning!"
Imagine the evil comes out of the room.
2. Cast the circle, use the water, candle, sand while turning to each
side.
3. Summon the Elements, summon the four main Deities (check out my
Wiccan- Jewish research to find out the Jewish variation to that).
4. Ring a bell.
5. Sit in front of the altar, take a glass full of water and raise
it up to the air saying:
"From dust you came and to dust you will return,
I was here at the beginning of the world, and I will be here
at it's end,
because I am the world- the Earth, the the Air, the Water, the
Fire
and the Spirit.
I gave you life, and to me you will return in the end.
I am the law of nature, the balance between good and bad.
I love."
Focus on the love of the earth. Feel it inside of you.
Mix the water with oil and say:
"I am the God, I am the father,
who spread his seed on this land.
Both of us had joined together to create one,
but we are not one, as this oil and water are not one."
6.Take the bowl with the sand, water and wax from the candle and put some of it on your hands, forehead and stomach. Say:
"I have summoned you here today, to perform the act of dedication
of
my mind, body and spirit to the Goddess and God, and to the religion
of Witchcraft. From this day forward, I will honor and respect both
Divine and myself. I vow to hold the ideology of the Craft in my
heart
and mind for a lifetime and beyond.
Therefor, as from this ceremony, I dedicate myself to listening,
learning,
and understanding of the Goddess &God's ways. I give myself
to you
for a year and a day."
7. While talking, point to the organ you are talking about.
"Bless my womb, that holed and produce the creation of human essence.
I vow to protect and teach the children of the Earth.
Blessed by my heart that it may beat steady and true. May the warmth
of
my love spread throughout the galaxy.
Bless my head, for it is the Wheel who can change the world.
Bless my astral sight, that I may see trough the veil of life with
the truth
of the Divine."
8. Turn to the altar, raise your hands up in the air and say:
"I... (your name), in the present of the Universe, of my own free
will, swear
that I will abide by the religion of the Craft, from this day on
I shell be
reborn as... (your new Wiccan name)!
I swear to respect the oath I have taken. I will not cause harm
to anyone,
or let other people do so.
9. Blow on the candles and say:
10.Close the circle, thank the Deities and Elements, clean up everything.
11. Congratulations! You are now a Witch!
Best Time: Full Moon. Summer or spring, when the moon enters
the room you're using.
Preparations:
1. Prepare the altar, open the windows.
2. Skyclad.
3. Use music with slow and steady beat of drums (e.g.- Prolog of Loreena
McKennitt.)
4. Prepare a bowl made of glass, with clear water, moonstones or other
stones related to the moon, and place them
in Moon shine (even outside).
5.Light 4 candles in each direction, close your windows.
The Ceremony:
Open a wide circle, walk around it three times. Dance the summoning
of the elements.
Start from the North, pass your hands down, from the top of your
head, all the way down to your feet, and on the way up, clap your hands
together, 'connecting' all the Chakras to one another. Do this 3 times
to each direction.
Blow off all the candles, and open the windows to the Moon light.
Read the Goddess of the Full Moon Charge
, you can learn it by heart or simply use Moonlight in order to read it.
Meditate while looking on the Full Moon and feeling it's energies,
take as long as you need.
Raise the bowl with Moon Water to every direction, and drink
9 sips, raising the bowl to the moon between each sip. Give the rest of
the water to mother Earth.
Thank the Goddess and God for attending.
Thank the elements.
Close the circle, walking three times around it.
Best Time: Yule. The Ceremony must begin as the time daylight
fades away.
Things to Prepare:
1. Black clock.
2. A candle that can burn all night.
3. A piece of Paper (that can very from a simple small piece
of paper to a special thing to
prepared before the rite...).
4. A black pen.
The Ceremony:
Dance a circle open 3 times clockwise, summon Elements and whatever
else you'd like.
Now, this all have to be at dusk, so don't be too soon (there's still
sun), and not too late, or you won't be able to see what you write.
Do everything in almost darkness.
Fold the paper into two, on one part, simply write "Welcome back, my
God", and on the other part you can fill in (on both sides if you want)
wishes for the new year.
Meditate on the great darkness and the new beginning it brings with
it, take as long as you need.
Then, when you feel it is almost totally dark, light the candle, place
the note under the candle so the part with the Welcoming will show.
Close the circle... bla bla bla (check up basic rite if you don't know
what are the final or first steps of every ritual).
Leave the candle burning all night (be careful!!!), when you wake
up, burn the note in the candle and snuggle the candle.
