Flynn walked inside with the other agents, still a little tired but was already beginning to feel better. Thanks to the awful coffee onboard the plane. Thinking about it still made his stomach turn.

Although Flynn had seen Damien Cunningham only a few days ago, it felt like months.

Flynn's eyes met Damiens and Flynn saw a smile on his face. He smiled back as if to say: {Couldn't help it chief}.

Damien introduced his new team-leader. Flynn observed her very closely. Flynn liked to know whom he was dealing with. He had observed his fellow teammates on the plane, but only now, during the briefing, he got an idea of their potential.

He listened to the case. [Missing women, wedding dresses, ring finger cut of, throat cut, thumb on right hand... Wait a minute, thumb on the right hand?] Flynn's confusion could only be read on his face for a few seconds.

He listened to his teammates and tried to piece together the information they'd just received. It was very difficult, seeing as he only had two hours of sleep. [Knock it off Flynn!] he thought to himself. [This is no time to feel sorry about yourself!]

He concentrated on the case now. There had been some talk about the wedding dresses and the ring-fingers. The thumb-thing still bothered Flynn.

"Ehhm." Flynn cleared his throught. He had been silent during most of the briefing. Some of them even looked surprised he was there!

"All four women wore a wedding gown, and the ring-finger was cut-off. But... Why the thumb? To my knowledge the thumb doesn't have anything to do with marriage."

There was silence for a moment. "I could be way off, of course." Flynn shrugged.
