The talk ensued for a while longer, then finally the team broke off to go to
their hotel rooms. Sandra was almost the first out the door, wanting to go
straight for her room; her bed, to be precise. She hadn't slept in the past
36 hours, not since she and Becky had left Team Echo. She doubted she'd get
to the room before she was asleep; she was surprised she'd stayed awake this
long.
However, as the group exitted the building, another problem arose. "How will
we get to the hotel?" Kate asked as the group realized that most didn't have
a car.
"No problem," Damien stated, "we're going to be picked up by a shuttle
service provided by the hotel. Costly, but the government is paying for it."
Finally, Sandra snorted, the government is actually going to be taking care
of it's employees.
As if on cue, a small bus/van came around the corner and stopped in front of
the group. The side and front read "Virginville Hotel Shuttle", leaving
little doubt as to what it was. The group piled in, stowing luggage under
the seats as they sat down. Once everyone was on, they headed for the hotel.
