>She paused and then asked "how soon can I get to >see Ann's body" She thought it would be worth a >look just to see what had happened to her and from >that she could tell what the killer was like.

"You can head down to the morgue as soon as we’re through here, if you like. The autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon. While you’re there, you might want to take a look at Brian’s body as well. With two deaths last night, I’m sure the medical examiner wouldn’t mind having a little help."

>"Are we going to be teamed up with another agent >or do we work on our Own and report to you" She >asked.

"We have a lot of ground to cover," Kate said. "If you’re comfortable going off on your own, that’s okay, but please stay in close contact with the rest of the team. Personally, I’d rather see everyone work in pairs." She smiled. "Most of my training is tactical in nature. If that makes me a little paranoid, so be it, but I don’t think its ever a bad idea to have someone around to watch your back."

Kate glanced up at the door in time to see Flynn and Damian come into the restaurant.

"How did it go," she asked as they approached the table.

"Meadows and his wife had an interesting reaction when we mentioned Burrell’s name," Flynn said.

"We were just talking about him." Kate made a quick round of introductions and a moment later a waitress arrived to take their orders. Over lunch, everyone got to know each other.

When the plates were cleared, it was apparent that everyone was anxious to get moving.

"I’ve asked Sharlyn to keep an eye on Burrell," Kate said, addressing Flynn and Damian. "I want one of you to go with her. Given the reactions we’ve been getting to his name, even if he isn’t our killer, I don’t want anyone going after him alone. Patrica, I presume you’ll want to head down to the morgue right away?"

"Yes."

"Good. I want to start talking to the relatives of some of the other victims. Maybe we can establish some sort of pattern. I’d also like someone to see if they can find out where the wedding gowns are coming from. There’s only one bridal shop in town, so that would be a good place to start. We have some crime scene photos that are clear enough, someone might be able to identify the gowns. Any volunteers for that assignment?"
