[2.10PM, Outside the Richmond Residence]

The two walked out of the house (if you could call it a house, it seemed close to a mansion), and Craig sighed in dis-satisfaction. 'I have a strange feeling about that family. If his daughter had just run away, wouldn't he have come forward sooner? Or at least told someone who couldn't keep a secret. And if he didn't care enough to do something about it, he probably would have kept the tapes, for sentimental reasons.'

'I know' Kate said, 'Heartless and/or lying, he has all the main qualities of a great politician.'

'Still, I suppose he did drop everything to tell us, either he cares a little more than we think, or he's just plain scared. May have something to hide.'

'He can't be totally cold and uncaring, after all, he didn't get his wife to have an abortion.'

Craig held back sniggers. 'I suppose he could've lied to get rid of us. Maybe his daughter is dead.'

'I doubt it, a death in the family would've made people feel sorry for him, maybe help him in the election. A runaway daughter would have just made them all hate him even more.'

'But if he rigs the election anyway, why would he need to try and curry the peoples' favour?'

'We'd better just take the Richmond's off the list for now, until something happens to prove his daughter really is dead.'

'Well, where to next?' Craig asked, he hated decisions like that, so he decided that he would meake sure Kate would decide.

'I was about to ask you the same thing.'
